Our 30th Anniversary Trip To Maine
Hello,
My interest in travel began in 1992 when I independently planned my first group event and then continued to plan many yearly events with as many as 52 people joining us. In March of 2015 I decided to take my travel hobby to a professional level and joined Tons of Fun Travel as an Independent Agent.
In 2018 I completed my Certified Travel Associates Training with the Travel Institute. I have also completed the following training courses: Certified Sandals Specialist, Alaska Expert - Princess Academy, Princess Commodore, Caribbean Travel Specialist, Aruba Certified Expert, AMResorts Master Agent for Secrets, Dreams, Breathless, Zoetry and Sunscape properties, Jamaica Travel Specialist & Jamaica Wedding & Honeymoon Specialist, An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, Universal Orlando Resort Specialist, RIU Specialist and newly trained with Rocky Mountaineer Tours. I continually take courses, attend seminars and visit as many destinations as I can so I can extend my knowledge and keep up to date on destinations.
Some of the destinations I have visited in the Caribbean are Aruba, the Bahamas, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Honduras, Jamaica, Punta Cana and St. Lucia, many of them we have visited numerous times to gain knowledge on the destination and resort to assist our clients. We love staying at All Inclusive Properties in the Caribbean for first hand experience, we have stayed at the following properties (some multiple times): Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay Jamaica, Sandals South Coast Jamaica, Sandals Negril Jamaica, RIU Raggae Jamaica, Couples Tower Isle Jamaica, Sandals Grande St Lucia, Hideaway at Royalton St Lucia, Royalton CHIC Cancun, Royalton Riviera Cancun, Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun, Planet Hollywood Cancun, Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, RIU Palace Aruba, DIVI Aruba, Amsterdam Manor Aruba, RIU Republica Punta Cana, Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, Breathless Riviera Cancun and I'm sure I have missed some but as you can tell we LOVE visiting all inclusive resorts and getting to know the locations so we can better assist you.
I have taken numerous cruises with Royal Caribbean, Princess and Norwegian. The most recent cruise was of the Hawaiian Islands where I travelled with a group of 15 to Hawaii for a 10-day tour. I love assisting with group travel and destination weddings, I have also taken groups to Alaska, Punta Cana, Jamaica and Cancun. I have travelled about 2/3 of the United States with Alaska, Maine, Florida & Tennessee being my favorites.

Fabulous Jamaica Vacation

A BIG shout out and THANK YOU to Mike and Laura Bassitt for booking our fabulous Jamaica vacation! We highly recommend the Club Mobay service that Mike and Laura recommended. The Club Mobay representative was assigned exclusively to us and we were fast tracked through immigrations and on to the VIP Lounge to relax & enjoy complimentary drinks while waiting on our transfer to the resort. The resort was wonderful and the only major decision we were left with each day was whether to swim in one of the pools or spend the day at the beach! This is a vacation that we never would have experienced if Mike and Laura hadn’t arranged it and we can’t wait for them to book our next adventure!

First Family Cruise!

Laura is very detail oriented. Every detail of our trip was perfectly planned. She told us about the need to register on Safe Travels Hawaii due to Covid and how to periodically check to see if requirements had changed. She strongly suggested trip insurance because it would take care of issues if we tested positive upon arrival or before our flight. Laura booked our transport from the airport to the hotel and our return transport to the airport. Laura followed up with us prior to our trip. We wanted a beach front room on Waikiki Beach and Laura booked us with a wonderful hotel, Hilton Hawaiian Village. Our trip was completely stress free with Laura handling the entire itinerary. I have recommended Laura to numerous friends & family. If you never gave a thought to using a travel agent then think again! Laura does not charge her clients and I know you will be so happy you contacted her. We fully intend to continue contacting Laura to handle our future trips.

5 stars just is not enough to rate this absolutely spectacular travel agent. I am a very organized person by nature, but even Laura had me beat! She communicated with us every step of the way. She was open to everyone traveling with us for calls, questions and emails at all hours of the day and night. (And there were a LOT of questions.) She was up to date on the recent Covid restrictions and made sure we knew exactly what to do in order to make the trip a smooth one.
One of my guest's flights got cancelled and Laura answered her phone call right away when she was running through the airport. She even helped me get in touch with wedding coordinators at the resort, which isn't even part of her job. She made everything so simple for every person traveling, young or old. She even put together the cutest travel bag for us right before our trip with all our paperwork and some fun items!
I will be using Laura for the rest of my life!!!!

Laura was excellent to work with in planning our family vacation. In fact, with after effects of COVID from 2021, airlines are frequently cancelling and changing flight schedules at this time. This happened to us and our large family group of 12 who were all flying together. That being said, Laura took care of it all.....from flight changes necessary to keep us all together on the same flight, to car rentals and subsequent questions.....Laura proved herself a jack of all trades and took care of our family! Visiting NYC at Christmastime was something I had wanted to do for a long time. I never had a travel agent plan a trip for me in the past and did not realize what I had been missing! Laura did an amazing job with planning and organizing the trip(flights, hotel room,transporation, attractions) from beginning to end. I really appreciated that she kept in contact with details and/or updates, in addition to being easy to communicate with if any questions. I asked Laura for help to take my mom to see the Big Apple and Laura made it easy and flawless as usual. Unforgettable Vacation!

We had a memorable trip to Alaska. It was packed full of various excursions. We went out on a 6 hour cruise ship to explore the Alaskan waters seeing a variety of wildlife. Eating wonderful fresh fish while in Seward. Then we travels to see Mt. McKinley, amazing. Then headed to Denali to stay. Ventured out on side by sides. The greatest adventure was flying in a plane to Denali and landing on a glacier. We floated on 3 rivers which was very relaxing. We learned about the culture in Alaska on a riverboat cruise. Working with Laura was wonderful. She hooked us up with great places to stay, planned wonderful excursions and was very organized. We didn’t encounter any problems other than our flight being delayed which was just a mechanical problem. Definitely would recommend working with Laura if you are planning a vacation.

As always, Laura Bassitt was AMAZING! I contacted her to plan a relaxing trip with a friend from high school so we could catch up. I honestly was very open to destinations and dates. Laura provided me with a short questionnaire and very quickly provided me with several options within my budget.
She supplied us with wonderful packets of all the details of our trip and included some thoughtful little gifts. Laura not only took care of all of the details, but she also included some valuable travel tips.
At pre-check for flight, something was not going correctly (I probably messed something up..lol). I contacted Laura and within 10 minutes she had everything completely straightened out.

Easy first time international trip

Excellent experience from start to finish. First time we have done a trip to this extent, with the out of country flight and everything involved with that and she made it as easy as possible. We had a good amount of questions throughout the process and never had to wait more than a day for a response, always quick and precise answers. We wouldn't have changed anything about the resort we went to and the process of getting it set up. Will likely use again for future big trips and will recommend to friends and family.

Laura was so helpful during this entire process. She worked very hard to find flights for us from NY to Spain and then on to Morocco. When we arrived in Morocco and our car wasn't there, she was so helpful in calling the agency to get the driver there.
She was also helpful and stayed in contact when we weren't sure if the car we were in was the correct one. She checked on us on our return flight, and days after our return.

A Honeymoon We will Never Forget!

We had a great experience during our travel and ran into basically no problems, which now and days seems unheard of when travel to different countries.
