Hi, I’m Andrea Ansevin-Allen, co-founder of Wander & Delve. I design elevated, high-value travel experiences for those who believe that a vacation should satisfy the intellect just as much as it relaxes the body. Think of my approach as the academic side of Indiana Jones - minus the antiquities theft.

I specialize in creating tailored itineraries for busy professionals, academics, and families who view the world as a living classroom. My clients want to experience local heritage, history, and food culture deeply, without the dry, rigid feel of a textbook. Our core specialties include:

My husband, Scott, and I met in London, and we have spent over 30 years uncovering global destinations together. From my early roots as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Seychelles to navigating international travel with our own 3 kids at every developmental stage, I know exactly what it takes to execute a flawless journey. To date, I have personally explored over 24 countries and 44 states, and orchestrated over 35 custom trips for discerning travelers.

Your time is your most precious commodity. Our planning process is highly analytical, transparent, and entirely collaborative. We handle the complex logistical heavy lifting of luxury travel so you can completely bypass the planning fatigue and simply enjoy the exploration.

When I am not mapping out an Arctic expedition cruise or securing a private villa on the Amalfi Coast, you can usually find me managing the beautifully chaotic logistics of our college-aged kids, volunteering with local sustainability initiatives, or hunting for the ultimate cup of espresso.

Best Birthday Vacation Ever!

I wanted my 40th birthday to be special - I messaged Andrea. I had never used a travel agent before, and now any other travel agent could not compare. She listened to me, asked questions, and arranged the perfect getaway. I gave a budget, potential destinations, and events that I was interested in. She came back with four desirable options. I chose the long weekend to Quebec City, Canada and noted that I don’t like to drive in cities, I was traveling alone, and I’m comfortable talking with people. What she came up with was amazing and she laid out everything for me. She gave me a packet about where I was going, the agenda/timeline, restaurant options, tips to make the most of my time in QC, a hard copy of my train tickets, how best to navigate and chat with staff members of the hotel, and even a scavenger hunt to enjoy along the way! I drove to Drummondville, Canada, caught a train (so I wouldn’t have to drive in QC) to Quebec City, where a town car picked me up from the train station, gave me a tour of the city, and dropped me at my hotel. She chose the perfect hotel, within walking distance to so much, had a balcony I wanted, champagne waiting for me to celebrate my birthday, room service available, and scheduled a massage. Andrea scheduled a walking tour, was willing to reserve seats at a restaurant with Celiac options for me on whatever night I wanted, found a Canadian ATM for me when I couldn’t locate one, and told me how to arrange transport back to the train station. She even arranged for gluten free meals to be provided to me on the train to and from QC. Every detail I was worried about was taken care of. I cannot recommend Andrea enough for her help in making the best celebration for my birthday. I am definitely reaching out to her for my next vacation. You should book with her as well – take the stress off of yourself and let her work her magic and you just sit back and follow the packet for the perfect vacation you requested.
