I’m Amanda Kay MacLeroy, the founder of Low Key Travel and a mom of seven who has turned real-life family chaos into a superpower for planning stress-free vacations.

I specialize in designing customized trips for real families — especially large families, multi-generational groups, and anyone who needs a trip that actually works in the real world.

I build itineraries for Costa Rica, all-inclusive resorts across Mexico and the Caribbean, Gulf Coast beach destinations, cruises, theme parks, and multi-stop adventures that many travelers find overwhelming.

My planning style is practical, intuitive, and deeply family-focused. I know what matters when you're traveling with kids, and I create vacations that balance adventure, rest, and meaningful moments.

I’m especially passionate about Costa Rica’s volcanoes, hot springs, waterfalls, jungles, and wildlife, as well as Xcaret’s parks, cenotes, and Riviera Maya experiences. I also draw from lifelong experience along the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast to help families choose condos, resorts, and beach towns that fit their style and budget.
