Travel is personal.
Baraboo, Wisconsin–based travel advisor helping clients across Wisconsin and beyond plan personalized, stress-free vacations.
Helping families, couples, and adventurers explore boldly and travel with heart — without forcing anyone into a cookie-cutter vacation. I specialize in vacation planning for travelers across the full spectrum, from budget-conscious value seekers to luxury travelers looking for elevated, high-touch experiences.
My core belief: the best trips are the ones that fit you.
I may be newer to the title of travel advisor, but I bring over 20 years of experience in customer service, events, and hospitality, crafting unforgettable experiences and managing complex details and lifetime of personal travel. I’m also constantly learning, earning certifications, and expanding my destination knowledge — because curiosity makes better travel advisors and better trips. From simple getaways to complex itineraries, group travel, and destination weddings, I thrive on logistics so you don’t have to.
Travel planning can be overwhelming. My role is to take that stress off your plate. I bring real-world experience and the backing of a collaborative group of advisors across multiple offices of Burkhalter Travel and the Travel Leaders Network, giving you expert guidance and strong advocacy from start to finish.
I don’t just book travel — I design experiences. That might look like a Holland America cruisetour to Alaska, an all-inclusive stay in Punta Cana with access to multiple sister resorts, or a fully customized independent journey through New Zealand, built around your pace, interests, and priorities.
I work with:
- Travelers seeking smart value and travelers seeking luxury
- Families, couples, multigenerational groups, and adventurous souls
- Adults-only escapes from romantic and relaxed to social, playful, or completely not vanilla
- Travelers who want flexibility, inclusively, and something a little different
I’m especially passionate about inclusive travel for neurodivergent travelers, travelers with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ travelers. Travel should be supportive, flexible, and empowering — not overwhelming.
My professional training reflects both breadth and depth, including:
- Disney Destinations Certified: Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani Resort, Adventures by Disney, and National Geographic Expeditions
- Virgin Voyages Gold Tier
- Holland America Line Gold
- Viking Certified Expert
- ALGV Pro Certificate
- CIE Tours Certified
- Globus & Avalon Specialist
- Hawaii Destination Specialist
My travel roots run deep. Highlights include a three-week journey through Ireland, living in Yellowstone National Park, managing a campground on California’s Lost Coast, and exploring iconic destinations like Badlands National Park, Valley of Fire, Tombstone, and Carlsbad Caverns. These experiences shape how I plan travel — grounded, curious, and deeply connected to place.
If you’re planning a romantic getaway, family vacation, Disney trip, cruise, all-inclusive resort, destination wedding, or first-ever flight, I’m here for you — especially if you’re starting from Wisconsin and want an advisor who understands Midwest travel logistics. If you want a travel advisor who listens, adapts, and has your back, I’d love to help you plan your next adventure.

What It’s Like to Work With Me:
I’m not a one-size-fits-all travel advisor — I listen closely, tailor every detail, and make sure your trip reflects you. I’ll never push a package just to make a sale. Instead, I’ll help you find the experience that fits your goals, your comfort level, and your budget.I love planning trips for people who want something real: relaxation, adventure, memory-making, and fun — not stress and fine print.Come to me with a half-baked idea or a fully-formed plan — I’ll meet you wherever you’re at and help you get where you want to go.
