I specialize in Mexico and the Caribbean, planning thoughtful escapes for families, couples, and travelers who want more than a quick booking. My clients often come to me with a general idea such as clear water, beautiful beaches, warm weather, or a much needed break, and my role is to turn that into a trip that feels right from the moment they arrive. That means listening closely before recommending anything. Some families want calm water where young children can swim easily, a resort that genuinely welcomes kids, and enough built in ease that parents can relax too. Others want a destination where culture, food, and beach time all live comfortably together. Some couples want quiet mornings, turquoise water, snorkeling, and one unforgettable dinner each day that feels like part of the experience rather than an afterthought.
I plan travel throughout Aruba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Bermuda, and the Bahamas, helping clients understand which island, coastline, or resort best matches the trip they are imagining. In the Bahamas, that may mean balancing beautiful beaches with playful moments like swimming with the pigs. In Aruba, it may be choosing the right side of the island for calmer water and easy dining nearby. In Mexico, it often means helping clients understand how different the experience can feel between coastlines, from peaceful Caribbean water to vibrant Pacific energy. The details matter more than most travelers realize. A beautiful resort can still feel wrong if the beach is rough for children, if the dining does not match your style, or if the atmosphere is not aligned with what you hoped for. I guide clients through those choices carefully, helping them avoid disappointment and find the version of luxury, comfort, or ease that fits their travel style and budget.
What my clients often appreciate most is that I truly listen. I pay attention to the pace they want, the kind of food they enjoy, how much activity feels right, and what would make the trip memorable for the people they are traveling with. I often recommend meals, local experiences, beach areas, and small touches that help the trip feel more personal and less generic. For families, I think carefully about what helps everyone enjoy the trip. That may mean a resort with swimmable water, easy room configuration, and enough flexibility that parents are not managing logistics all day. For couples, it may be finding a setting where mornings feel quiet, snorkeling is nearby, and evenings naturally lead to beautiful meals and time together.
Shared Suitcase Travel was built around concierge level planning and relationship first service. I am not interested in simply finding a hotel. I want my clients to feel that someone thoughtful is guiding the process, helping narrow the world into the destination that fits them best, and staying present through the details that make travel smoother. If you are looking for someone who knows how different each island can feel, understands how much the right fit matters, and takes the time to make sure your trip reflects you, I would love to help you begin planning.
