I am one of the two owners at Family Traveling Tips. My duties in the agency include, but are not limited to, Social Media administration, training agents, and booking clients. I am married and the mother of one daughter. My husband, Shane, works in the oil field and travels around the world working on unmanned robotic submarines. My daughter, Savannah, is a recent high school graduate who was on the school’s nationally ranked dance team, the school’s yearbook staff, and is an avid reader. She will be heading to college in the fall! We also have two furry family members, Dewey and Fleur, whom we treat as members of the family. I have worked in education for 20 years, first as an English teacher at a local high school, and then I earned my school librarian credentials and became a school librarian. My love of learning is one of the things that fed into my love of travel. I enjoy seeing new places and learning all about them. That love is what led me to want to help others see the world with the same sense of fun that I see. With almost a decade of travel advising under my belt, I am able to use my experience to make sure all of my clients have an amazing time wherever they decide to travel.
