About Me

From the jagged peaks of the Black Hills to the otherworldly expanses of the plains, South Dakota is a state defined by dramatic landscapes, monumental history, and an undeniable spirit of the American frontier. Whether you are planning an epic summer road trip or looking for a quiet autumn escape, the Mount Rushmore State offers a diverse and unforgettable journey.Black Hills, where you can drive through the jagged, sci-fi-looking rock canyons of Badlands National Park or check out iconic landmarks like Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. If you want to see wildlife, Custer State Park is an absolute must-visit, offering a chance to navigate the super-narrow stone tunnels of the Needles Highway and get up close to a massive, free-roaming herd of over 1,500 bison.

Rapid City offers a super-walkable downtown lined with life-sized bronze statues of past U.S. presidents and a hidden alleyway dedicated entirely to local street art. To make exploring even more rewarding, the state has launched a free digital travel passport in honor of America's upcoming 250th birthday, letting you rack up points and prizes just for checking in at local rodeos, parks, and small-town festivals along your route.Heading east across the Missouri River, the rugged hills soften into rolling prairies and vibrant cultural hubs.

You can stop in Sioux Falls to grab a local craft beer and watch the river crash over layers of pink quartzite rock right in the middle of the city, or check out the massive Arc of Dreams monument spanning across the water. No road trip through the state is complete without hitting a few iconic, quirky roadside stops, like the famous Mitchell Corn Palace which is re-decorated every single year in giant folk-art murals made entirely out of real corn and grains or the beautiful Redlin Art Center in Watertown,

Retirement done right
Reviewed By Roger G. - Vientiane | Traveled to Laos | East and Southeast Asia
My wife and I recently retired. We’ve both spent all of our life working and building our family, well now it’s time for us to explore the world. We wanted to go big and travel to all of their places that we’d looked at in our travel books. Rachel made planning so easy and stress free. From departure to arrival to navigating to our hotel. Everything was made easy because Rachel planned it just so. We are using her for all of our upcoming trips.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

A trip to remember
Reviewed By Dorothy A. - Manila | Traveled to Philippines | East and Southeast Asia
My husband always promised me that he would take me to the Philippines one day. Unfortunately, he passed before he could make on that promise. Rachel helped me to plan the most beautiful trip in his honor. He would have loved it so much. Thank you Rachel!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Felt safe
Reviewed By Louise B. - Hi Chi Minh | Traveled to Vietnam | East and Southeast Asia
As a single women traveler, it can be intimidating to travel and try new things without knowing what you’re walking in to. I addressed these things with Rachel and she helped me to plan a trip that was safe yet adventurous. I’ve never felt safer in a foreign country and it was thanks to Rachel.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Such a unique trip
Reviewed By George K. - Shanghai | Traveled to China | East and Southeast Asia
Doing a trip yourself is so able, but the problem is we’ve never been and we don’t know all of the cool things to do. Rachel helped our family plan the perfect summer trip that made my kids excited to go back to school and tell all of their friends. We can’t wait to use her for our next trip.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
