I’ll never forget the memories my sister and I made cruising through the Caribbean, especially our stop in the Virgin Islands. While our mom stayed behind in St. Thomas to enjoy some fun at the casino with her best friend, we hopped on a quick ferry to St. John—a decision that led us straight into paradise.

The ferry ride itself was only 20 minutes, but every second was filled with breathtaking ocean views and the kind of beauty you can’t capture in a photo. When we arrived in St. John, we were greeted by pristine shores, lush green hills, and a peacefulness that wrapped around us like a warm breeze.

St. John is the crown jewel of the U.S. Virgin Islands—a perfect blend of untouched natural beauty and refined island charm. With two-thirds of the island protected as Virgin Islands National Park, it’s no wonder the landscapes remain so unspoiled. We hiked scenic trails, snorkeled through vibrant coral reefs, and relaxed on the soft sands of Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay, two of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen.

The island offers everything from luxury resorts and charming villas to quaint shops and local restaurants, each one bursting with island flavor and friendly smiles. I was genuinely touched by the locals—their warmth, pride, and joy in sharing their island made our experience even more special.
