Growing up in the Midwest, experiencing 40 below 0, for 30+ years, made warm, sunny destinations very enticing. Since I love the ocean, palm trees and silky sand, tropical destinations have become my favorite place to travel. Every sandy beach has their own uniqueness about them. Some are full of adventure and some are relaxing and rejuvenating for your mind, body and spirit. When I travel to tropical destinations, I often experience a little of everything. Besides the sun, sand and turquoise water, the culture, history, sightseeing, wildlife and food are all amazing to learn about. Since I've been to many tropical locations, I'm branching out to explore more of the world. There are 6 other continents that I haven't seen. So, I am planning to expand on my current travel experiences. As I'm checking destinations off my list, I keep adding more.
