Amazing return to Spain, Portugal and Morocco

My October 2022 return trip to with Trafalgar Tours to Spain, Portugal and Morocco was amazing.  I had been to all three countries a number of times before but combining them and spending more time in each country provided the great in-depth knowledge of these three cultural and historical countries. From majestic and architecturally awesome Madrid to picturesque mountaintop cities like Toledo was a great re-introduction.

Some of the highlights for me included the awe-inspiring Alhambra at Granada, Spain, the festive intricate Medina of Fes in Morocco and the elaborate monuments commemorating the rich sea-faring history of Portugal on the banks of the Tagus river in Lisbon, Portugal.

The cuisine, as expected, was different for each country, but each of them was amazing and of course the wine was incredible.  

We traced the path of pilgrims, who ventured to the Shrine of Fatima in Portugal to pray to the Virgin Mary.  The monument on the site  of the religious miracles and the immenseness of the entire complex was impressive

I'll recommend these countries either individually or together for people interested in culture, history, architecture, beautiful citiscapes and landscapes as well as as food and wine.
