We took a family trip to Virgina Beach and I was thoroughly unimpressed with the area, it was just ok, seemed a little old and run down. However, our Travel Agent (Steve) let us know about a few local "hole-in-the wall" places(that were right up our alley!) and some great restaurants in the area that weren't advertised on anything we had looked at leading up to our trip. It was clear he had listed to my ideal family vacation and use some of what I said to give us ideas that we might like! We also had some not great weather, and he pointed us to a trampoline park and other indoor activities that we hadn't even researched. We expected sun and fun, having the ability to reach out and call or text someone who had been working behind the scenes to make sure we had the best vacation actually made it even more memorable! I will NEVER go to an unfamiliar location without the use of a Travel Agent!
