About Me

I am new to the travel industry but am very excited to help others explore different places in which one can legally partake in cannabis products and activities and to connect others of like interests.

I value nature and respecting others and our surroundings and am trying to raise my children with such values. Some of my hobbies including gardening and dabbling in art creation in my spare time. Cannabis has been a friend of mine since adulthood, I did not use it much as a teenager. This world that we are living in is filled with stress, anxiety and negativity. Cannabis helps me keep the important things in sight and resist the absorption of the surrounding negative things. I have also made a lot of fantastic friends throughout my journey thanks to cannabis. I worked as a caregiver in a long-term care setting for a number of years and have always believed that "laughter is the best medicine". I left the health-care field because the nursing home that I worked at sadly closed and I went to work in production. I worked as an assembler/packer in a snow plow factory for three years. During that time I underwent a lot of changes in my life, ultimately for the better though the road was rough. As a mother, working outside of the home has always been a struggle to balance being at work and my availability to my family. Thus I left the factory to be at home with my family and help them get ready for the day and to be home when their day is done and to try a whole different style of income-earning.

Born and raised in Mid-coast Maine, I continue to call this area my home. When I was growing up one would grow their plants in secret out in the woods, trying to make the most of our short growing season. I have watched cannabis become legal in this area through my adulthood. First it started as a couple of medical dispensaries here and there for which one needed a "Med-Card" from their doctor. Recreation cannabis is now legal in this beautiful state and I have often wondered what the scene is like in other legal states, as I'm sure others have. Understandably, as with in Maine, I am sure there are regulations and guidelines for cannabis use that must be understood and adhered to. The curiosity of how legal cannabis has taken off in different places, paired with my boy friend's amazing idea that I should specialize in travel arrangements for people wanting to travel for cannabis-related reasons has lead me here.

And I must say I am quite excited about this prospect.  Along with helping people arrange travels and accommodations and such involving the cannabis, I want to help people connect with others that have similar interests. For example, back to my boyfriend briefly, Dan is fantastic at many things, one of those being growing plants. Recently he has started growing the cannabis again and has found connecting with others doing the same thing via social media to be helpful and interesting in that it connects so many people with similar but also slightly different ideas. We have often talked about attending an event for connected growers and how that would be cool to partake in at some point. This idea kind of sparked the beginning of Julie's Cannaventures, along with other events and inspirations that have brought me to this point.

I am excited to see what the future holds and what adventures are to come!

Amazing 420 Adventures

As of May 1st, 2025 almost half of the states in the United States have legalized the recreational use of cannabis.

I think that is so awesome and exciting! I want to help others explore these different, beautiful and places by helping them find and book accommodations, transportation, activities, etc.
