I was heading to Portugal for a family event and wanted to extend my stay and explore more of the country. Jess and I had an initial conversation about the trip. We initially discussed how long I planned to be in the country, areas I wanted to explore, how to get around in the country going from city to city, etc. She helped me game plan a trip around my family event. She works to get a sense for your hotel and tour/excursion preferences. Using that knowledge, she put together multiple hotel and excursion options across multiple cities. She also priced out different flight options flying in to different cities and leaving from the US out of different cities. She was great about providing reassurance on various things including logistics with trains and the impact of striking train workers which was especially relevant in my case, how to find meetup points for tours/excursions and distances to/from hotels, using ride sharing apps in foreign countries, prevalence of English speakers in the country, how much foreign currency to bring, likelihood of being able to use a credit card, etc. She suggested using an app for the train operator in the country I was visiting which was helpful to track trains during a train worker strike while I was in the country. She booked almost everything on my behalf and the app she uses stores the itinerary for you which is a game changer. I was very pleased. She is patient and very responsive to questions. I’ve worked with Jess for two different trips so far. I would gladly work with her again!
