About Me

Step into a land where ancient traditions meet breathtaking natural beauty, Guatemala is a destination like no other. Nestled in the heart of Central America, this vibrant country is alive with color, culture, and serene natural beauty.

Wander through the cobbled streets of Antigua, a colorful colonial gem framed by volcanoes and bursting with charm. Here, pastel facades and baroque churches tell stories of the past, while bustling markets overflow with handmade textiles, jade jewelry, and fresh fruits. In every town and village, you’ll find a celebration of Guatemala’s rich indigenous heritage from the intricate huipiles (traditional blouses) to the ancient Mayan languages still spoken today.

For adventure-seekers, Guatemala is a playground like no other. Ride horses up the active Pacaya Volcano and roast marshmallows over steaming lava vents, or take on the challenge of Acatenango, a 2 day hike where a sunrise summit offers a front-row seat to the eruptions of neighboring Fuego.

No visit is complete without time at Lake Atitlán, often described as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Surrounded by lush volcanic peaks and dotted with traditional Mayan villages only accessible by boat, each with its own personality, this is a place where serenity and culture blend effortlessly. Explore the gorgeous waters, hike along scenic ridgelines, or unwind in a lakeside hammock as local life unfolds around you.

From vibrant markets in Chichicastenango to sacred ruins like Tikal to the black sand beaches of the pacific coast, Guatemala invites travelers to experience a world that is both deeply rooted and wildly alive. It’s a destination for those who crave authenticity, connection, and the thrill of the unexpected.

Let Guatemala surprise you—come for the adventure, stay for the soul.

We explored the Yucatán Peninsula—Mérida, Valladolid, and the beaches of Tulum. The cenote swims were a highlight, and we loved staying in boutique hotels with real local character. Julia made every detail seamless.

France solo!
Reviewed By Cindy J. - Fort Collins, CO | Traveled to France | Europe
Traveling solo through France felt exciting, not overwhelming, thanks Julia. They planned a seamless route from Paris to Lyon to Provence, with just the right mix of structure and freedom. Every hotel, train, and tour was thoughtfully chosen, and I always felt safe, supported, and completely in love with where I was. Their local tips—like where to find the best pastries or quiet galleries—made it all feel personal. It was my first solo trip, but definitely not my last.

Roadtrip!
Reviewed By James R. - Wisconsin | Traveled to Washington | USA
This road trip through the PNW was something we’d talked about for years, but we never had the time (or patience) to figure it all out ourselves. Julia made the whole thing not only possible, but unforgettable. From Portland to Olympic National Park, down the coast and into Oregon wine country, every part of the route felt like it was made just for us. We stayed in places that felt cozy and local—like a cabin with a wood stove tucked in the forest and a farmhouse B&B with the best homemade breakfast. The hikes, coastal drives, and little stops along the way (like lavender fields, hidden waterfalls, and a tiny pie shop we still talk about) were the kind of things we never would’ve found on Google. More than anything, it was easy. We just showed up and followed the plan, and it still felt like an adventure. We finished the trip rested, happy, and already wondering where Julia will send us next

The best Colorado Ski trip!
Reviewed By Serena - Arlington, Virginia | Traveled to Colorado | USA
We reached out to Julia hoping for a laid-back ski trip in Colorado—and what we got was an experience that felt effortlessly luxurious and totally dialed in. From the start, they helped us choose the right mountain for our group (we went with Telluride) and handled everything: lift tickets, ski rentals, lodging right on the slopes, and even a reservation at a mountaintop fondue restaurant that we never would’ve known to book ahead. What stood out most was how personalized everything felt. They added in a non-ski day with a snowmobile tour and spa afternoon, plus gave us tips on where to find quieter runs and the best local coffee (seriously, that hot chocolate in Mountain Village was next-level). The itinerary was digital, super easy to follow, and included weather updates and packing tips that saved us big time. We’re already thinking about hitting Aspen or Steamboat next year—and we’ll definitely be calling Julia again. They made the whole trip seamless, fun, and full of powdery ma

The perfect winterwonderland trip!
Reviewed By Matt - Vancouver, Washington | Traveled to Switzerland | Europe
We wanted a cozy, romantic winter getaway with stunning scenery, Julia absolutely delivered. We spent ten days in Switzerland, starting in Lucerne with its medieval bridges and Christmas markets, then moved on to Lauterbrunnen where we stayed in a charming chalet nestled between waterfalls. The highlight was riding the Jungfrau railway to the ‘Top of Europe’ something we would’ve never figured out how to book on our own. We skied in Grindelwald, sipped mulled wine under fairy lights, and enjoyed fondue by a roaring fire. Every train connection was smooth, every hotel had the exact atmosphere we were hoping for, and the itinerary balanced winter activities with relaxation. Julia even sent us a packing guide and coordinated a surprise spa day for my partner’s birthday. It felt personal, luxurious, and completely stress-free. We’re already talking about doing a spring hiking version next year!
