As a dedicated Caribbean travel specialist, I was personally selected and invited to attend the exclusive Back to the Beach experience hosted by Sandals & Beaches Resorts — an in-depth, high-level training designed for top-performing travel advisors. This wasn’t just time on the beach; it was an intensive, behind-the-scenes deep dive in Jamaica. I experienced firsthand what truly sets these resorts apart, allowing me to confidently match my clients with the exact property, room category, and overall experience that best fits their ideal vacation.

During this experience, I spent time on property at several of their resorts, learning directly from the General Managers, Chefs, and even Activities Leaders. Each of these amazing properties has it's own unique beauty and distinct personality.

Sandals Ochi is such a great fit for friend groups and family reunions with it's small four suite villas and private pools. Ochi also has lively entertainment, and a true nightlife scene that you won’t find at every Sandals.

Sandals Royal Plantation offered a completely different experience — intimate, refined, and incredibly romantic, with personalized service at every turn and butler service included in every single suite.

Both Sandals and Beaches Negril stand out for their unbeatable locations on the best stretch of Seven Mile Beach. This beach is one of my favorite world-wide due to its crystal clear turquoise waters and soft white sand. The snorkeling is excellent here, and you can even see dozens of star fish and gentle sting rays paddle boarding or kayaking right off the beach. 

Beaches Negril is a standout for families of all ages, with brand-new multi-bedroom suites right on the sand that make multi-generational travel incredibly special and memorable.

For adults-only travelers, Sandals Negril combines that same incredible beach with a more laid-back, true island-vibe feel. Many rooms are just steps from the beautiful water and the entire resort is designed to keep you connected to the ocean from sunrise to sunset.

Finally, at Sandals Dunn’s River, I experienced one of the newest and most elevated options in the brand, with beautifully updated suites, rooftop terraces perfect for stargazing, and unique touches like private swim-up suites. They have great pickleball courts to add some fun for active adults and group travel.
