About Me

on the way to the airport to go home
on the way to the airport to go home

Some cities you visit.

Venice you fall for. I did — and I can't wait to go back.

Why Venice

There is nowhere else like it.

No cars, no traffic, just water and stone and the sound of your own footsteps on a bridge at midnight.

Venice asks you to slow down and walk, and that's the whole gift of it — the best things I found were the ones I wasn't looking for. A quiet campo. A tiny bacaro. A shop I'd never have known to search for.Where I'd stayThe Baglioni Hotel Luna is my recommendation.

It's the oldest hotel in Venice, tucked just steps from St. Mark's Square but far enough off the main flow to feel like a genuine retreat.

The service is warm and old-world in the best sense, the interiors are beautifully done, and the location is close to unbeatable — you can walk out the door and be in the middle of everything, then come back to quiet.

For a first visit to Venice especially, being able to step out into the city on foot changes the entire experience.I also work across Venice's finest hotels and can match you to the right neighborhood — whether you want the buzz of San Marco or something quieter in Dorsoduro or Cannaregio.Arriving by waterTake the water taxi. Not the crowded public boat — a private one, with the wooden deck and the open back.

Coming into Venice by water for the first time is one of those travel moments you don't forget, and it's the right way to start the trip. I arrange these in advance so you're not sorting it out with luggage after a long flight. The food — and the shopping

The food in Venice is wonderful, and I loved it, but what I really loved was bringing it home.

The spice shops are extraordinary.

So are the local products — olive oils, aged balsamic, dried pastas, Venetian sea salt, honey, coffee. I came back with a suitcase heavier than it should have been and no regrets whatsoever.

The shopping in general is exceptional. Venice does luxury properly — Italian leather, glass from Murano, handmade paper, beautiful boutiques on the streets around San Marco alongside the flagship names.

It's a city where the browsing is as good as the buying.Evenings in St. Mark's Square

This was my ritual, and it's the thing I'd tell everyone to do. Sit in St. Mark's Square in the evening, order something, and simply stay a while. The orchestras play, the light goes soft and gold across the basilica, and the whole world walks past you. It costs more than it should and is worth every euro.

I did it every single night.Perfect for couples — and for travelers who love beautiful things

Venice is deeply romantic and a natural choice for honeymoons, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations. It's also ideal for travelers drawn to art, architecture, design, food, and craftsmanship — there's endless depth here for anyone who wants it.And Venice pairs beautifully with the rest of Italy, with the Dalmatian Coast just across the Adriatic, and with a luxury cruise — it's one of the great embarkation cities in the world.

Why work with me

I'm a Certified Travel Associate and ASTA Verified Travel Advisor with more than 25 years in hospitality, specializing in European travel, food and wine journeys, and luxury cruising.

My supplier relationships bring amenities, upgrades, and hotel credits you won't get booking on your own.More importantly — I've walked these streets.

I know which hotel suits which traveler, how to handle arrivals and transfers so nothing is stressful, where to send you for dinner, and how much time you actually need. Venice rewards travelers who plan it well, and I'd love to plan yours.

An Unforgettable Alaska Journey — From the Rails to the Retreat
Reviewed By Doug M - Clermont, Florida | Traveled to Alaska | USA
From the moment we started dreaming about Alaska, Kim made the entire experience effortless. We chose Celebrity's Alaska cruise and rail tour in The Retreat, and it exceeded every expectation — but what truly set it apart was knowing that Kim had planned and orchestrated every single step for us. The rail portion was breathtaking. Gliding through the interior with floor-to-ceiling glass dome views, we watched snow-capped peaks, glacial rivers, and untouched wilderness roll by — and we spotted a bear and a moose along the way! Every transfer, every hotel, every connection was seamless. We never once stood in a station wondering where to go or what came next, because Kim had mapped it all out and walked us through exactly what was happening and when. Then came the ship, and sailing in The Retreat was pure luxury. Our suite was stunning, the private restaurant Luminae spoiled us at every meal, and the exclusive Retreat Lounge and Sundeck became our favorite places to unwind. Our Retreat Host and butler anticipated our every need. Cruising past the Hubbard Glacier as it calved into the sea, watching whales breach from our veranda, exploring charming ports like Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan — each day brought something more spectacular than the last. But here's what we'll tell everyone: the reason this trip felt so carefree is Kim. She gave us a detailed day-by-day itinerary so we always knew what to expect. She was just a text away the entire time. When we had a question, she had an answer. When we needed something, she'd already thought of it. We never felt lost, rushed, or on our own — we felt taken care of, every step of the way. We didn't just book a trip. We had someone in our corner making sure everything was perfect so we could simply relax and soak in the magic of Alaska. Kim, we can't thank you enough — and we're already dreaming about where you'll send us next!

Food and Wine Cruise
Reviewed By The Doctors - Clermont, Florida | Traveled to St. Johns | Antigua & Barbuda | Caribbean
Kim put together the best food and wine itinerary for us on our Caribbean cruise. We met her at a wine event, and she said she could find us something usual that we would love in the Caribbean. She delivered on it, we had the best food and enjoyed all the suggestions she had for the islands we visited, we will use her again for our travels in the future.

Cruise with Pre/Post travel
Reviewed By Amelia and Family - Chicago IL | Traveled to Athens | Greece | Europe
Kim did an excellent job with helping us plan a trip of a lifetime to celebrate an anniversary and graduation. She was diligent with communication throughout the process and hearing our needs and expectations. We enjoyed our luxury cruise, it definitely lived up to what we were looking for in service and culinary. Ours tours and transportation in Athens were fabulous, probably the best tour we have ever had traveling. The post cruise in Italy had a few hiccups not due to Kim however she fixed everything in a timely manner and was excellent with communication and helping us with those minor problems. I can't want to plan our next trip with her and her company. Highly recommend Explora cruise line and Kim.
