First-Time Cruiser

Can't say enough for the handling of flights, transportation and hotel arrangements for our group of 8. Four first timers, who were very impressed on how all the details were in place and with our 35th cruise in knowing what to expect and Todd had it all perfectly handled. Todd was great to work with and it was assuing in knowing all details were in place for our relaxed vacation in beautiful Alaska. Kudos to a great job.

As lifelong golfers, playing the legendary courses of Scotland was a bucket-list dream. Todd built us a trip that exceeded every expectation. Tee times at St Andrews, Royal Troon, and Carnoustie—secured months in advance—paired with stays in charming Scottish manors. Between rounds, he arranged whisky tastings, castle tours, and even a private driver so we never had to worry about logistics. Scotland was everything we dreamed of and more, and Todd made sure it all came together flawlessly. A true once-in-a-lifetime golf pilgrimage

When my wife mentioned wanting to see Croatia, we had no idea where to start. Enter The Flip Flop Travel Guy. Todd pieced together an itinerary that took us from Dubrovnik’s Old Town walls to the stunning waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes National Park. He even arranged a private yacht day to explore the Dalmatian Islands—hands down the highlight of our trip. Croatia had history, beauty, and adventure, but it was Todd’s planning that made it seamless and stress-free.

We thought we knew luxury cruising until Todd booked us on an Explora Journeys sailing. It was like living inside a high-end boutique hotel that just happened to float across the Mediterranean. Spacious suites with walk-in closets, dining that rivaled Michelin-star restaurants, and a spa experience that redefined relaxation. Todd’s insider tips made us feel like VIPs from embarkation to disembarkation. Explora Journeys is the future of luxury cruising, and Todd made sure we experienced it in style

Todd Emery crafted the most incredible two-week Italian dream trip. From the canals of Venice to the rolling hills of Tuscany, down to the Amalfi Coast, every stop felt perfectly planned and yet never rushed. He balanced must-see landmarks like the Colosseum and Vatican with hidden gems—like a private pasta-making class in Florence and a sunset boat ride in Positano. It wasn’t just a vacation; it felt like Todd handed us Italy on a silver platter. We’re already talking about round two

We’ve cruised the oceans before, but Todd introduced us to the magic of the rivers with AmaWaterways—and wow, what a difference. Sailing along the Rhine felt like drifting through a storybook: castles on hillsides, vineyard-lined shores, and charming little towns. Todd secured us a balcony stateroom so we never missed a view, and his recommendation for a vineyard bike tour was the highlight of our trip. River cruising is intimate, elegant, and unforgettable. We would have never discovered it without The Flip Flop Travel Guy

We booked our honeymoon through Todd Emery, The Flip Flop Travel Guy, and it was pure magic. From the overwater bungalow with glass floors to the private snorkeling excursion, every detail was flawless. Todd even arranged a surprise sunset dinner on the beach that my husband had no idea about. He took what could have been stressful planning and turned it into the most romantic, seamless week of our lives. If you want once-in-a-lifetime done right—call Todd.

Traveling with teenagers isn’t easy, but Todd made our family cruise on the Carnival Firenze smooth sailing. He suggested the perfect cabin layout, secured dining times that worked for all of us, and gave us insider tips for each port so we weren’t stuck in long tourist lines. His recommendation for Il Viaggio onboard was a game changer. Our kids were entertained, my wife and I actually relaxed, and we came home with memories we’ll laugh about for years. Todd gets families because he lives it too

I always dreamed of seeing Alaska, but the planning overwhelmed me—until I found The Flip Flop Travel Guy. Todd crafted a group sailing with excursions I didn’t even know existed, like dog sledding on a glacier and kayaking in Juneau. He made sure our stateroom had panoramic views, and the little touches (like his packing list for the unpredictable weather) saved us more than once. I’ve traveled a lot, but this was by far the most well-organized and awe-inspiring trip thanks to Todd

Cozumel was always on our bucket list, and Todd made it unforgettable. He booked us into the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort & Spa, a true 5-star oasis with private beach, spa, and panoramic Caribbean views. We spent our days snorkeling, sipping margaritas, and soaking in the sun on white sand. What set Todd apart was his personal connection to the island—he gave us recommendations for a local taco stand that turned out to be our favorite meal of the whole trip. This wasn’t just a vacation, it was the reset button we didn’t know we needed

Todd Emery knows luxury cruising better than anyone. He set us up in MSC’s Yacht Club on the Seashore, and we were treated like royalty from the moment we boarded. Private pool, butler service, fine dining that rivaled top restaurants back home, and Ocean Cay that felt like our own private paradise. Todd even explained how MSC’s status match program saved us money while upgrading our perks. I don’t think I can ever cruise outside the Yacht Club again. Todd turned us into cruise snobs—in the best way.

Todd goes above and beyond for his clients. I say clients but I feel more like a friend than a client
