Hello! Shelly Muzika here, based out of the charming city of Charleston, SC. We are known as one of the top travel destinations in the world and immersed in hospitality and tourism. Prior to being a travel agent I worked in hospitality and food and beverage where I was constantly surrounded by tourists and travelers from around the globe. I always love hearing guest's stories of where they were headed or where they were coming from. Surrounding yourself with good food and unique cultures is intoxicating. The European feel of Charleston merged with the warm hospitality and picturesque scenery makes it one of a kind.

In addition to being a travel agent I am also a Teacher's Assistant at a local elementary school in a CD Blend classroom. I have worked mostly with special needs students since my start in 2018 and I love my work.  There is something really special about being a young person's introduction to school. My heart definitely goes into my students.

My love for travel started at a very young age travelling with my family. I grew up in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Another city rich in tourism. It is known for being the golf capitol of the world and boasts the beautiful Grand Strand Beach. My parents were both teachers and enjoyed planning our time off together seeing somewhere new. My Dad first visited the Virgin Islands in the NAVY and developed a love for adventure right away. We went everywhere on our summers like Europe, Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, the Florida Keys.

One of my favorite trips was very impromptu, which was not like us.  My mom was a planner! We flew to Chicago on a Spirit Airline deal over a long weekend in February.  It was freezing with some of the strongest winds we have ever had in our lives but we all had a blast! We shopped and ate and enjoyed the beautiful skyscrapers even with the unbearable cold.  It proved to me that factors like weather really doesn't ruin a trip so it's all about your mind set. When on vacation, let go, immerse yourself, be present and take what you need from your adventure.  

I continued travelling as an adult with my husband enjoying a winter in Europe and driving across the United States and relaxing in Hawaii on our honeymoon. We lived In Arizona for a couple of years before eventually returning to Charleston. Out West we enjoyed Phoenix, San Diego, San Fransisco and Las Vegas.  Once we had our daughter we mainly frequent Florida's beaches and theme parks. They are an easy drive from Charleston and have become our home away from home.

I am new to the travel agency as of 2024 but I have years of knowledge and expertise through experience and training.
