About Me

Sailing through Glacier Bay National Park
Sailing through Glacier Bay National Park

Hi, I'm Bryan Coogler, your ocean cruise specialist with C to Sea Travel.

I've been planning trips since I was 12 years old, when I spent an entire year reading a Disney World planning guide until the pages literally fell apart. I mapped out every detail, every meal, every ride. That trip taught me something I've carried ever since: the right planning makes all the difference, and I genuinely love doing it.

Today, I channel that same energy into helping people plan ocean cruises that actually fit their lives, their budgets, and what they're hoping to feel at the end of the trip.

What I specialize in:

I focus on ocean cruising in three main regions: Alaska, the Caribbean, and Europe. Each one offers something completely different, and I've experienced all three firsthand.

Alaska is where I fell in love with cruising all over again. Sailing through Glacier Bay, watching massive walls of ice come into view, is the kind of thing that's hard to put into words. It's a destination I recommend often and enthusiastically, especially for travelers who think they might not be "cruise people."

The Caribbean is where I send clients who want to exhale. Whether it's a short getaway or a longer island-hopping itinerary, I help match people with the right ship and the right ports for what they're actually after, whether that's snorkeling, beach days, cultural exploration, or simply doing nothing for a few days.

European cruising is where the history nerd in me comes out. The Mediterranean, the British Isles, the Norwegian fjords: these itineraries layer incredible destinations together in a way that's hard to replicate any other way. I help clients understand the tradeoffs between different lines, ship sizes, and ports so they can make the most of every stop.

Who I love working with:

I work with a wide range of travelers, but a few groups are close to my heart:

  • Families, including blended families, multigenerational groups, and families navigating special needs or accessibility considerations
  • Couples looking for a romantic escape, whether it's a milestone anniversary or just a long-overdue getaway
  • LGBTQ+ travelers who want to feel confident they're choosing welcoming ships and destinations
  • First-time cruisers who have questions, hesitations, and a healthy dose of excitement

If you've ever thought cruising wasn't for you, I'd love to change your mind. I've helped plenty of skeptics become people who are already planning their next sailing before the first one ends.

How I work:

I don't do cookie-cutter. I start by asking questions and actually listening to the answers. What matters to you? What doesn't? What went wrong on a past trip you don't want to repeat? What's the dream version of this vacation?

From there, I match you with the right cruise line, ship, itinerary, and cabin category. I help with shore excursion planning, dining reservations, travel protection, and all the logistics that can feel overwhelming when you're doing it alone.

I stay in your corner from the moment you reach out to the moment you get home.

A little about me:

I'm based in Washington State and run C to Sea Travel with the same values I'd want in a travel advisor myself: honesty, responsiveness, and genuine enthusiasm for the trip. My husband Mike and I travel as often as we can, and every trip adds something to what I'm able to offer my clients.

If you're ready to start planning, or you're just in the early stages of dreaming, I'd love to hear from you.

Amazing first cruise
Reviewed By Athenna - Union | Traveled to Alaska | USA
Bryan was there for us all the way. He made sure we knew where to go and that all our needs were met. It was my first cruise and I was very nervous as I usually get sick on boats. He also helped us plan our Disney cruise to take our grand daughter on. He's amazing and is always there to help and answer questions.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

    Glacier Bay: Worth Every Penny

Not every Alaska cruise includes Glacier Bay National Park. I want you to know that upfront, because if you're considering Alaska, it's the first thing I'd tell you to look for when choosing your itinerary. I've sailed through Glacier Bay more than once, and every single time, it stops me in my tracks. Here's what a day in Glacier Bay act...
