A Lifetime of Wanderlust

My love for travel began at age 12 when I had the incredible opportunity to explore Europe with my family. That trip - spanning Italy, Greece, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium - ignited a lifelong passion. Later, while studying abroad in Vienna in 1994, I spent every weekend hopping on trains to new destinations, including Budapest, Prague, Slovakia, Germany and beyond.

Europe remains a favorite, taking me to England, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, and even Russia, where I stood in awe of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Most recently, I checked off a bucket-list experience - witnessing the Northern Lights in Iceland.

Beyond Europe: Exploring the Globe

Mexico holds a special place in my heart, from the beaches of Tulum and Isla Mujeres to the vibrant art scene of San Miguel de Allende. I've explored the Caribbean's most breathtaking islands, from St. Lucia to Barbados, and even ventured into Indonesia, where my brother lives in Bali. Whether it's zipping around on a scooter, visiting the monkeys in Ubud, or practicing yoga by the ocean, I can help you craft an authentic Balinese experience. 

Why Africa is My Favorite Place on Earth

Nothing compares to Africa. The people, the wildlife, the landscapes- it's truly magical. Witnessing the Serengeti's vast beauty brought tears to my eyes. I've embarked on safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, trekked through Uganda's jungles to see chimpanzees, and had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of coming face-to-face with silverback gorillas in Rwanda. South Africa is next on my list, and I can't wait!
