Travel has always been my North Star, profoundly shaping my life through connection, discovery, and transformation.

My travel journey began more than 30 years ago, fresh from the U.S. Air Force, with professional training as a travel advisor. While life and circumstance led me through successful careers in national defense, telecommunications, and digital storytelling, my passion for exploration never waned. In 2025, I answered that calling, proudly founding Sojoura Travel, a boutique agency based in San Francisco.

My passport tells a vibrant story across five continents: from Bali's serene highlands and Brazil's dynamic rhythms to Greece's ancient ruins and Israel's spiritual landscapes. Two years living in the UK, alongside exploring 42 U.S. states, including my native Colorado, and eventually settling permanently in Northern California in 2004, deepened my appreciation for home and belonging in all its forms.
