About Me

Tour du Mont Blanc
Tour du Mont Blanc

Adventure travel offers more than just a break from routine; it provides transformative experiences that challenge, inspire, and reconnect us with the world around us. Whether you're hiking the scenic trails of Chamonix, dogsledding in Norway, or skiing in Antarctica, with the right planning are attainable.

The Transformative Power of Adventure Travel

• Reconnect with Nature: In my experience, there's nothing quite like standing at the edge of Lac Blanc in Chamonix, the reflection of Mont Blanc mirrored in still alpine water. Moments like these shift your perspective and ground you in the present.

• Enhance Physical and Mental Well-being: After trekking the panoramic Grand Balcon Sud trail, I felt both physically challenged and mentally recharged—a powerful reminder of why outdoor movement is so vital.

• Foster Personal Growth: Navigating unfamiliar terrain, adapting to weather shifts, and pushing past comfort zones builds confidence you carry far beyond the trail. Travelling to Norway just requires a layer of long underwear. Using something you already have in your closet can prepare you for your next adventure.

• Create Lasting Memories: Sharing a packed picnic with friends at a summit, watching the clouds roll over the peaks, creates one of those “I’ll remember this forever” kind of moments.

The Value of a Travel Partner in Adventure

As a travel advisor—and someone who's personally experienced the highs (literally) and logistics of planning a Chamonix hiking trip and an Norwegian adventure from North to South— or simply a trip to the BWCA, I know how overwhelming the details can be. That’s where expert guidance becomes invaluable.

• Customize Your Itinerary: Not every traveler wants the same adventure.

• Provide Insider Knowledge: From knowing when the Aiguille du Midi cable car opens to which trails are best suited for sunrise hikes, I provide the kind of local knowledge that makes your trip smoother—and far more memorable.

• Handle Logistics: Your focus is on adventure.

• Offer Support: I’m there to troubleshoot and ensure you never miss a beat.

Embark on Your Next Adventure with Confidence

My own time in Chamonix reminded me just how powerful adventure travel can be. From crisp mountain air to glacier vistas and unexpected moments of awe, this type of experience stays with you long after you return home. With the guidance of a seasoned travel advisor who’s been there, and done the hiking boots, you can feel confident that every detail—from trail maps to train tickets—is expertly handled.Let’s craft an experience that challenges, excites, and leaves you packed with memories.

We just returned from an incredible trip to Ireland, and I cannot thank Sarah enough for making it so seamless. From the initial planning stages to the final itinerary, her attention to detail was unmatched. She helped us navigate everything from Dublin to Belfast from train and bus rides to the best tours and must see places. Her expertise ensured we found the perfect balance of sightseeing and local culture. What really stood out was her ability to organize everything in such a way that each day was clear and easy to navigate. We never would have been able to travel with such ease on our own. If you want an stress-free, expertly curated travel experience, look no further!

Most memorable girlfriends trip

This trip to Ireland was so easy for me. I wanted to go to Dublin for a hair show as I’m a hairstylists , and Sarah helped so much! She had information for available tours , museums and best ways of transportation and hotels locations . You can tell she is passionate about her love for travel ! The hotels were both in great locations , clean , friendly helpful staff , small kitchens , and little cafes and bars in lobby . We loved it! Sarah booked our tour tickets and bus tickets , train tickets .. we could look on an app everyday to see maps for our pick up locations and how to get everywhere else we had booked . On our own we found thrift shops and restaurants , but she offered great ideas along the way . She was so available to us with all our questions . She was thorough and took the guess work out of the trip and put all the details together for us . She honest and so helpful !

Two Sisters, Two Countries: 10 Fabulous days we will never forget.
Reviewed By Two Sisters - Minneapolis, Minnesota | Traveled to Europe
Sarah Allen was instrumental in helping us create the best trip ever. After my first conversation with her I knew I had our travel agent. (The first one I spoke to didn’t feel right. I’m so glad I switched to Sarah). Sarah really listened to my ideas and goals for the trip. She asked follow up questions to better understand what I was looking for in my first trip to Europe. Her patience, as I solidified the details, was much appreciated. When I shared the towns of my relatives and desire to rendezvous with them, Sarah suggested the best places to stay, in order to make it happen. Visiting with these relatives for the first time, in the small towns of our ancestors, was a dream come true. We were now part of the network of relatives meeting relatives who grew up across an ocean. It’s humbling to think about our ancestors making the decision to leave their family and country in the 1800’s and moving to America. Now we were in those countries getting to know our roots. The distance that once separated us melted away as we talked and laughed and compared our lives. We had three home bases to accomplish the ideal trip. Sarah chose the perfect hotels in each city. We enjoyed walking distance to trains, trams and attractions on our list. Traveling by train to our cities added to the adventure of being in Europe. We were there to experience the culture. A chance of a lifetime to see the country side and listen to the language of my ancestors from local families riding the rails with us. Meeting the three different groups of relatives, was the highlight of the trip, which says a lot, because there were so many fantastic experiences. If you’re thinking of connecting with relatives in another country, don’t hesitate. Visiting your home country (or countries) and meeting relatives, is a way to better understand yourself and the world around you. We have more commonalities than differences. Sarah Allen can help you get there. Thank you Sarah!
