I’ll never forget the first time I went to Europe with my husband and two girls. It was a whirlwind 18-day guided tour, and every new stop led to a laugh-out-loud adventure

. I loved watching my girls make their own signature scents in a perfumery in Nice,blow the largest wooden horn I’d ever seen at a beer bar in Germany, and climb hundreds of feet into the frosty air on a funicular in the Swiss Alps.

 My girls are all grown up now, but they still talk about this trip to this day—and it happened more than two decades ago!But that’s the thing about truly inspiring, bond-building trips: They never really leave you.
