About Me

The iconic Table Mountain in Cape Town
The iconic Table Mountain in Cape Town

I’m a travel advisor who specializes in accessible, inclusive, and deeply personalized travel experiences for people who are often overlooked by traditional travel services. As an autistic woman over 50 who frequently travels solo, I bring lived experience and professional insight to every itinerary I craft. I understand the real-life challenges of travel - panic attacks in airports, inaccessible hotels, sensory overwhelm, and the constant need to self-advocate. But I also know how transformative travel can be, and I’m here to help you navigate it with confidence, joy, and ease.

I work with a wide range of travelers who need accommodations, including autistic individuals, disabled travelers, caregivers, and families. Whether you're a solo woman over 40 seeking a safe, enriching escape, or a parent planning a sensory-friendly trip for a child, I take the time to understand your needs and build a trip around them. I’ve supported travelers using mobility aids, service animals, and neurodivergent-friendly planning tools - because travel should never feel like an uphill battle.

Recently, a client entrusted me with arranging cross-country travel for his minor son flying solo for the first time. From coordinating unaccompanied minor protocols to ensuring a smooth experience at the airport, I handled every detail with care and precision. That same level of trust shows up in all my work, whether I’m rerouting a family mid-trip due to a meltdown, or spotting a 12-hour flight delay before the airline even sends the alert. I don’t just plan trips - I anticipate needs, solve problems, and stay two steps ahead so you don’t have to.

Originally from South Africa, I return often and love sharing its beauty with others. I also specialize in short-stay itineraries and long layover adventures, especially in Europe, where I often spend 2–3 days exploring cities en route to South Africa. Whether you want a tightly scheduled tour or prefer flexibility with built-in downtime, I create trips that reflect your pace, preferences, and priorities.

In 2022, I planned a month-long journey through South Africa with my teenage son, complete with a snowy stopover in London and Paris. Despite major disruptions, we adapted and made lifelong memories. That same resilience helped me support a friend whose trip with her autistic child was unraveling. With a few sensory-considerate tweaks, we turned it around. I bring that same empathy, foresight, and problem-solving to every client I serve.

At my core, I’m a planner, listener, and advocate. If you're looking for a travel advisor who understands visible and invisible disabilities, solo travel over 50, or how to make every moment count, I’m here to help.

Let’s build a trip that works for you.

Kirsten was thoughtful and thorough and made my trip a success. While I didn’t purchase my flight through her this time(I plan to next time), I did purchased travel insurance. Kirsten went over the plan with me to ensure it contained everything I needed and the price cannot be beat! I ended up unwell on my trip and The insurance saved me from having to pay an arm and a leg for care! Highly recommend working with Kirsten when it comes to your travel needs!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

My Teenager's First Solo Trip
Reviewed By Brian G. - toronto | Traveled to Winnipeg | Manitoba | Canada
Kirsten came on to help me plan a tricky trip- sending my 14 yr old to Winnipeg to spend a week with his cousins. Leon is a nervous flyer, and he was not keen on going solo. Kirsten prepped a simple, comparative analysis of the airline's costs-benefits, and together we decided on Porter and NOT paying for a unaccompanied minor option. It worked out great! Not only did we avoid an Air Canada strike, but Leon returned a much more confident traveller, having pushed himself to listen to instructions and safely navigate both flights like a champ. Highly recommend Kirsten, especially if you are admin challenged (like me), or you appreciate calming attention to detail.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Excellent service.

Kirsten is such an amazing travel agent, she is knowledgeable and strives to make sure her clients receive the best package which is within their budget. Unlike other agents who present you with a few options Kirsten will go the extra mile to make sure you not only arrive at your destination but factors things like transit times, trip duration and luggage weight restrictions so your travel is seamless. I received regular messages and emails from Kirsten to check on whether I had all documentation and how the trip was going. As usual with any travel abroad one does not always have access to emails and Kirsten was always accessible to send itineraries via WhatsApp when needed, she also added her email to receive updates on flight delays and cancelations and updated me regarding these. It is rare to find such a dedicated person these days. I highly recommend Kirsten.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
