Richard Sasson brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to exceptional customer experience to every journey he designs. His passion for travel is rooted in lived experience, most notably his time living and working in Europe, where he relocated to Belgium in 2019 to lead large-scale international operations across England, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Belgium.

While based in Belgium, Richard served as Global Director of Sales Operations for a leading international manufacturer, where he established and expanded customer support and sales operations throughout Europe. He was instrumental in launching new offices in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany, selecting and designing facilities, transitioning teams to full-time employees, and partnering with third-party logistics providers to create seamless operational foundations. Leading a team of more than 130 professionals across seven countries, Richard was responsible for capacity planning, process design, and, most importantly, ensuring consistently high standards of customer engagement and service delivery.

Central to Richard’s success was his unwavering focus on the customer journey. He trained and developed teams to understand not just operational excellence, but the human side of service, anticipating needs, communicating clearly, and delivering personalized solutions. His leadership also extended to product release approvals, where he evaluated new hardware, software, and firmware, with an emphasis on usability, reliability, and the end-user experience.

Today, Richard applies this same disciplined, client-first approach through Roving Adventures. His firsthand understanding of European cultures, destinations, and logistics, combined with decades of professional experience optimizing complex, multi-country operations, allows him to craft thoughtfully planned, smooth, and memorable travel experiences.
