RUM AND ISLAND TOUR
Our flight home was not until late afternoon, so we booked an excursion with the cruise line. We all met in the cruise terminal and dropped off our luggage and boarded a bus for an island tour. First, we did the Signature Tasting Experience at Mount Gay Rum in Bridgetown. Then we toured the island for a few hours and were dropped off at the airport.
If you have a late flight after departing a cruise, I highly recommend booking an excursion with the cruise line. It’s a great alternative than spending all day sitting in an airport and they take care of storing your luggage for you.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Learning about the distilling process was fascinating
FINAL THOUGHTS
I would highly recommend this cruise itinerary or a similar one. The Southern Caribbean is so beautiful and the islands are so close together. Every morning we woke up to a new, amazing destination. I would love to help you plan a similar trip!
