It was wonderful working with Tera and Cindy at Send Me A Postcard! They found a super location for us to stay -- just steps from the metro -- and it made an easy home base for us throughout the week. They researched special moments to make our trip extra meaningful and arranged tours and adventures we never would have found on our own. Best of all, they made everything easy. Highly recommend!

Tera made the entire process easy from start to finish. We really didn't need to do anything other than outline our interest and budget. She did all the work from scouting locations, reservations and all the follow-up until the day we returned. It was great having a resource to rely on for questions and peace of mind knowing all the details were taken care of so we could just focus on the trip and enjoying ourselves! Our boys are college age so this is likely the last spring break we'll do as an entire family so we wanted to make the trip memorable as a family. Mission accomplished!

I've booked 2 trips via Send Me A Postcard. Both times I experienced great communication, clarifying questions and recommendations. My first trip was a spring break trip to Northern California and all went smoothly from beginning to start. The second was a business trip to Las Vegas which was a bit more difficult as I had not been there in decades and had no idea what to expect. The travel team provided great insights and suggestions, especially with regard to the hotel and finding someplace close to my conference and a location that was completely non smoking, casino included. They were awesome.

I needed help finding and planning a travel spot for our annual sibling trip. Tera helped with location options and we landed on a cruise to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Sea. If you've ever planned a trip for family, you know how challenging communication can be. What you say and email can be received totally different and can derail the best planned trip. Well, this is where Tera is worth her weight in GOLD! She communicated with everyone individually (over 20 of us!) ensuring we understood needed travel documents , flight info, lodging, check-in times, mailed out luggage tags, helped with transportation recommendations to and from the Port of Miami and everything in between for a smooth arrival and return home. She provided the perfect amount of follow-up/patience to those that needed it. Everyone in my family commented on how friendly and attentive she was at explaining and making sure they all had everything they needed for an enjoyable getaway. Admittedly, I am a control freak, mainly because I want everyone to enjoy themselves. However, I quickly realized Tera was the expert and became comfortable redirecting my family to her when asked questions pertaining to our trip...HEAVEN SENT! It was so nice to enjoy a vacation with my family without the pressures of planning. We consider Tera family now and look forward to planning next year's family getaway with Send Me A Postcard. Our trip to Varazze, Italy was a once in a lifetime occasion for us, our two kids and their partners, and our two year old granddaughter. There were many flights to figure out, not to mention train trips and places to stay. Tera and Cindy, of Send Me A Postcard, heard our plans and were happy to make the arrangements. It was such a relief to turn the management of the trip over to them. We flew from O’Hare to Atlanta to Amsterdam, and then on to Genova where we picked up a van big enough for our entire crew. This went smoothly, and we were off to Varazze, a 25 minute drive north. Our VRBO condominium in Varazze was on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean. It was a three bedroom unit with indoor and outdoor dining tables and a large terrace. It was a wonderful home which allowed us to host meals, naptimes, aperitivos, and card games. Meals often included olive oil rich focaccia, a specialty of the Ligurian region of which Varazze is a part. The best part of the whole trip was our daily family and friend time while in Varazze. Given the very intense heat of Italian summer, we started each day with a trip to the beach where we would swim, lounge, buy a coffee and snack at the beach-side kiosk, and enjoy our time together. After the beach, we would head toward home or the town for lunch and siesta. At 4PM, we would have aperitivo, usually a drink with a snack, often focaccia topped with tomatoes, onions, or cheeses. Next, we could go out at about 8 for a typical late Italian dinner, or, staying true to our American routines, cook an earlier meal. A card game under the stars on the terrace was a common end-of-day pleasure. Tera and Cindy met with us several times over the planning of the trip, always gave us the time we needed, and made our travels almost stress free. We will work with them again the next time we travel.
