I had the opportunity to live in England for a full year as an enrolled college student, fully immersed in everyday life, culture, and travel throughout the country. Based primarily in Maidstone, I experienced England not as a visitor passing through, but as someone learning how to navigate and live within it day to day.

During that time, I traveled extensively through both major cities and smaller historic communities, including London, Salisbury, Dover, and Chatham. I became deeply familiar with the pace and rhythm of travel throughout England, from navigating rail systems and city neighborhoods to balancing iconic landmarks with quieter local experiences that many travelers overlook.

Exploring England quickly became a passion of mine. I loved introducing new arrivals to the places I had come to know so well, helping them experience both the famous highlights and the hidden corners that make the country feel layered, historic, and deeply personal. Somewhere along the way, I also discovered that England has a way of turning perfectly reasonable adults into people excitedly pointing at castles from train windows, and honestly… who doesn’t love castles? That experience strengthened the way I approach travel planning today: not just focusing on what to see, but how to structure a trip so it feels immersive, well-paced, and rewarding in real life.

I also developed a strong appreciation for how interconnected European travel can be. During my time abroad, I planned and navigated trips beyond England, including a memorable journey to Paris through the Channel Tunnel, which deepened my understanding of coordinating multi-destination international travel efficiently and thoughtfully.

Today, I bring that same curiosity, research-driven planning style, and firsthand experience into every England itinerary I create.
