Our Destination wedding planning with Laurie was nothing short of amazing.
She was super easy to work with and accommodating. She was willing to come to us if need be but for us messages and emails were much easier and that was a non-issue.
There were a handful of issues that arose during the whole process (none of her fault) that would have been a struggle for most to overcome but Laurie handled each one with the utmost professionalism and always strived to get a resolution as quick as possible no matter what the issue may have been. When our daughter and her fiancé decided on a destination wedding I , being a bit of control freak was uneasy. Laurie was able to find a resort that had a beautiful wedding package for the 45 of us and also a fun resort for the 9 children and all the adults. As someone who likes to do things herself I thought I could get a better deal but I was pleasantly surprised that the price I paid was very comparable to what I could Google. Some of the things I asked for just weren't possible on my time line. Her knowledge of accommodations and various ways of transportation helps a great deal and I value her opinion. I have booked one trip via air miles, and she made sure I knew all of the info that I would need to do that so I could go with my entire group. I love going with the Traveling Diva's that Laurie formed just because sometimes its nice to have those short tours just to get away and even if you're not a shopped (which I'm not) Laurie always helps me find other things that I can do and keep busy. There is always get a time when we all get together but if some doesn't feel like it you are never made to feel left out. She is always watching to make sure everyone in the group is getting what they came on the trip for even at her own expense. I love traveling with Laurie.

It was a wonderful trip, 23 days, 7 countries, 68 locks, and three photogenic rivers. We saw many, many castles, cathedrals, abbeys and charming walled towns. We had great weather, wonderful company, my family and old friends. A big Thank You to Laurie, Lorne and Vulcan Vacations for organizing a once in a lifetime trip. This isn’t our first trip with them and we always have too many laughs, fun dinners and good cheer. We loved it and totally recommend Scenic spaceships with the great service, amazing food and comfy balcony cabins. Perfect for floating down the rivers just waiting to see what the next thing is around the bend.
