Discover the Magic of Costa Rica
One of my favorite destinations to share with travelers is Costa Rica—a country about the size of West Virginia, which means you can see and experience so much of it without feeling rushed. Its compact size makes it possible to explore coast to coast, each region offering a completely different atmosphere and adventure.

A Country of Many Worlds
What I love most about Costa Rica is how every area feels unique. One region might welcome you with golden beaches, the next will surround you with lush rainforests, followed by breathtaking cloud forests, vibrant small towns, and some of the kindest, warmest people you’ll ever meet. It’s a destination where every stop tells a new story.

My Favorite Spot
Manuel Antonio While many travelers fall in love with the northwest side of Costa Rica, my personal favorite is Manuel Antonio. Walking down the beach and spotting playful monkeys right along the shore is an unforgettable experience. The waves are perfect for swimming or simply enjoying the rhythm of the ocean, and the local flea market area adds a charming touch where you can connect with the culture and bring home a piece of Costa Rica. The nearby Manuel Antonio National Park has also been ranked as one of the world’s top beaches on many travel shows, making it a must-see highlight.

Arenal & Beyond
Another area I love is Arenal, where the sight of the volcano rising above the landscape is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Soaking in the local hot springs while gazing at the volcano is an experience that feels both relaxing and surreal.

Wildlife Everywhere
The wildlife in Costa Rica is abundant and diverse. My favorite encounters include watching green sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs at Tortuguero and hearing the unmistakable roar of howler monkeys, whose calls sound more like gorillas than monkeys. Wildlife is around every corner here, making each day a new adventure.??
