Washington DC and the surrounding areas, which are locally called the 'DMV". Our Nation's Capital features world-class museums, iconic landmarks, historic neighborhoods, cultural and arts entertainment, lively nightlife and a diverse food scene.

MEMORIALS AND MONUMENTS

The National Mall features memorial and monuments.  Visitors from all over the world tour the Washington and Lincoln Monuments.  The most poplar memorials are the ones dedicated to our war veterans and the Martin Luther King Jr.

MUSEUMS

The Smithsonian Institute comprises a network of museums and galleries that are free to the public. Warning:  There are so many museums to peak all interests. To see them all, you must visit Washington DC multiple times!

CAPITOL HILL

Visitors can tour the U.S., the Library of Congress, and the Supreme Court during designated times. These tours gives you a glimpse into the workings of the federal government.

HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOODS

This is the heart of visiting the "DMV".  There are historic neighborhoods with their own character of architecture, boutique shopping, and great restaurants offering a variety of cuisines.  Please don't rule out the food trucks! 

ANNUAL CHERRY BLOSSOM SEASON

The most beautiful time to visit Washington DC area is during the Cherry Blossom season. The blooming Cherry Blossoms creates a magical time to walk the tidal basin and explore the National Mall and Memorial Parks.

Great Weekend Trip

I connected with Corliss to help me plan my family's recent trip to Washington DC. I wanted recommendations from someone who was familiar to the area and Corliss delivered. She stayed within our budget for the hotel and selected great options. As far as food recommendations, every one she suggested was fantastic. Corliss kept us informed on things going on (we went during the government shutdown) and made sure to check in while we were there. She also sent great tour recommendations for us and highlighted great things to see. I am looking forward to planning our next trip!

Family Trip to Ghana

Family Cruise Vacation

The trip was very enjoyable. Corliss did an excellent job in scheduling and shepherding the group through booking, boarding, and onboard meal planning. This was one of the most organized and fun cruises I have experienced. We are looking forward to booking our next family cruise vacation in 2026.
