Having personally explored Athens and the Greek Islands, I love designing unique itineraries that allow travelers to immerse themselves in the beauty of Greece. But you might be surprised at how it all started!.

My first journey to Greece was in 2017 when I led a group of 13 middle school students and parents on an educational adventure. This immersive experience combined history, culture, and hands-on learning, setting the foundation for my deep appreciation of Greece as a travel destination. Check out this itinerary:

Day 1: Athens Meet your Tour Director at the airport

Day 2: Athens Take a guided tour of Athens

Day 3: Athens • Naxos Island Travel via ferry from Athens to the beautiful shores of Naxos Island   

Explore Naxos on a walking tour and stop for a photo at the iconic Gate of Apollo, a marble remnant of the unfinished temple dedicated to one of Greek mythology’s most important gods  

Day 4: Naxos Island Go on a guided sightseeing hike through the mountainous Apeiranthos Village    Enjoy a tasting of locally made cheeses   Prepare and then enjoy an authentic Greek meal in a hands-on cooking class

Day 5: Naxos Island Take a full-day boating excursion to the Koufonisia island area, exploring both land and sea. Some of us shopped, and some (me!) jumped off short cliffs into the sea!

Day 6 :Naxos Island • Athens Travel via ferry from Naxos Island to Athens    Take a walking tour of Athens With your Tour Director you will see:Plaka district

Day 7: Athens Visit the Olympic Museum to learn the history and impact of the Olympic games  Take a Greek dance lesson 

Another memorable experience was a week-long cruise with a small group, where we visited some of Greece’s most iconic locations:

Athens – The cradle of Western civilization, where we wandered through the Acropolis, marveled at the Parthenon, and enjoyed traditional Greek cuisine in the Plaka district.

Thessaloniki – A fascinating blend of Byzantine, Ottoman, and modern influences, with lively waterfront promenades and rich cultural heritage.

Kusadasi (Turkey) – A gateway to the ancient city of Ephesus, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of Greek and Roman history.Crete – The largest Greek island, where we explored the legendary Palace of Knossos and relaxed on stunning Mediterranean beaches. This was one place I want to return!

Santorini – A picture-perfect paradise with whitewashed cliffside villages, breathtaking caldera views, and world-famous sunsets.

Mykonos – Known for its cosmopolitan charm, iconic windmills, and lively atmosphere, perfect for both relaxation and nightlife. A favorite shopping area

Milos – A hidden gem with dramatic coastlines, crystal-clear waters, and the famous Sarakiniko beach.
