Hello my name is Carli.  I love travel and I love sharing travel tips, information and making sure more people have access to travel. 

I grew up in Minnesota but moved to Seattle for college and never left.  I have a deep love for the Pacific Northwest dating back to annual summer trips to the Oregon coast with my dad. 

Traveling and travel planning has been a long time passion of mine.  In 2024 alone I flew almost 80K miles around the world with a FT (non-travel industry) job.  I planned two separate trips with girlfriends, a week in Ireland with my mom, a last minute trip to visit Christmas markets in Germany and ended my year on a solo trip to Australia with New Year's Eve in Sydney. 

By March of 2025 I will have visited all 7 continents and 36 countries.  While I don't think you have to set a goal to visit every single country, I do think it's important to explore new regions, because you never know what destinations you'll fall in love with or what foods will become your new obsession.  

Since 2021 I've become an avid solo traveler, traveling solo across all 7 continents. My travels include (but are not limited to) Iceland, Thailand, Argentina, Morocco, and of course Canada and the United States.  Once you decided to stop waiting for friends, family, partners, etc. you open yourself to so many more opportunities to travel because you are more flexible in when, where and how you travel.  As a woman, traveling solo can be daunting, but it's also very liberating. 

As a Minnesota native I'm also a Delta loyalist and Platinum Medallion member and an expert in getting the most out of your Delta status.
