Jessica's Journeys: Where your dreams come to life

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Hartness. I have been in the travel industry for just over 10 years creating memorable trips and planning extraordinary events with my family and friends!

I am 24 years old, a full time mother, and full time lover of traveling! Since I was a child, I have always been passionate about helping others, especially providing some sort of peace to their minds and their hearts. What is a better way to full fill my passion of helping people, then to allow them to enjoy a vacation? A vacation should never be stressful! 

As a child, my family would always go to the beach. I'm an hour away, so it became my happy place! I remember just sitting on the back of my fathers truck bed, eating snacks, while watching the ocean. I remember how calm and still the water looked. I always thought to myself, "Wow. I wish I could always feel this calm". Everything was beautiful. We would also go camping consistently! The amount of family time we spent together, brought us farther away from the stress of everyday life, but closer to each other! Isn't that the goal for everyone in this life?

When I say the beach is my happy place, you may be thinking, "What is a happy place?" To answer, I would say people may have different definitions of a "happy place", however, I define it as a place where I feel the most relaxed and at peace. When I am at the beach, for example, I love watching the ocean water sway! I feel peaceful within my heart, body, and soul. I want you all to feel the same way! 

I specialize in beach vacations. Based on my experience and knowledge from my childhood to adulthood of going to different tourist attractions and crossing things off of my bucket list! Life is too short to not have some sort of peace once in awhile, I want to help you achieve that! 

There are many things that have to be planned for a beach trip. Whether it is a one night stay just to get away for a while, or a longer vacation, there are details you must pay attention too. For example, when my family goes to the beach just for the night, we have to book a hotel room. This means we have to check the BEST price, the cleanest hotels, check in times, check out times, restrictions, necessities, etc. This can become very stressful! That is where a travel agent comes in. I will handle all of the booking for you! You should never have to stress over a vacation! Your only responsibility should be to pack your bags and have a blast!

Not only do I enjoy the beach, I enjoy helping people plan parties, birthdays, weddings, big events, etc. I am an extremely creative woman, so planning those stressful events, brings me peace! We all know how stressful planning an event can be. There are guest invites, decorations, activities, etc.

For instance, a wedding is one of the most stressful events to plan. There is al ot of hard work involved, but it is worth it in the end!  It is all about the small details such as, but not limited too; Guest Invites, Food and Drinks, Seating, Colors, Speeches, Dances, etc. For a long distance wedding, you also have to worry about plane tickets, hotels, passports, etc. You should never have to stress on your big day! That is where I come in. I will handle all of the small details, so you can sit back and enjoy your big event! 

In conclusion, as a travel agent, I am here to make your dreams become a reality. Every body has a "dream vacation" they have always wanted to go to, but what happens when that dream vacation becomes filled with stress and frustration? You don't get to fully enjoy your time while there. I want to make sure you never have to stress about going anywhere that you may consider your happy place! In this world, we all need a little break once in awhile. This is where my knowledge of being a full time mother comes in. As a mother, my children love the beach. We love to go to the local parks, local animal zoos, the best restaurants, the best tourist attractions, etc. 

My life quote has always been, "Life is too short". Life is too short to not take that dream vacation! You never know what you have until it is gone. People get very caught up in their day to day lives, we tend to forget this. I am here to remind you of the importance to take some time for yourself! Self care comes in different forms, but a vacation is the main way you can care for yourself, your family, your friends, and your overall well being!
