We recently traveled as a large family group to the RIU Palace Aquarelle and had a wonderful overall experience from start to finish. The private direct transportation arranged for us was seamless and made our arrival completely stress-free, especially with a larger group. From the moment we arrived, the staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed throughout our stay. The only small hiccup was that our initial room setup had twin beds instead of our requested configuration, but it was quickly and easily corrected by the resort without any hassle, which we really appreciated. Everything else exceeded expectations, and the trip was smooth, enjoyable, and well-coordinated. We would definitely recommend this resort for families and group travel—and especially recommend working with April to handle the planning. Her organization and attention to detail made the entire experience effortless. She answered all of our questions and handled flight changes after the hurricane last fall. She worked to make sure our resort was able to accommodate what we were looking for from our vacation.

Our trip was SOOOOO great!! Very hard to be back!! The resort was amazing- great food, staff, clean, all together AMAZING!! We didn't do anything but relax, eat, drink, walk around, go in the ocean, and meet people! THANK YOU so much for everything.

Secrets: Food: 9/10, make a reservation for the hibachi restaurant and excursions early in the trip to ensure availability Beach: 9/10 beautiful, minimum seaweed, nice warm water, fish and pelicans were fun to watch, have someone wake up early and reserve your favorite pool/beach chair. entertainment: 8/10 was very nice to have Dreams right next to Secrets, so we were able to use the waterpark and watch entertainment nightly hospitality: 10/10 small tips were accepted, fabulous service English speaking ability: 6/10. There was always someone who could interpret, but drivers to/from all-inclusive resorts and many workers spoke limited English. Would be helpful to know some Spanish * The first thing they attempted to do when we entered the resort was to sell us a premium package for extra money, which I found disappointing. I am glad that we did not purchase it, as we were able to use most pools and restaurants. It just sucks to feel like a 2nd class guest right from the get-go.
