About Me

Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort
Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort

I know Universal Orlando from both sides of the lobby.

I am a Universal Orlando travel agent in Clermont, Florida, and a former luxury lead concierge at the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando on Universal property. Before that, and since, I have been in the parks as a guest, with my own family, and on my clients' behalf, more times than I can count. I know what the website promises, and I know what actually happens at 11 a.m. when the VelociCoaster line hits 90 minutes.

Destinations I Plan
• Universal Orlando Resort (Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, Universal Epic Universe)
• Universal Studios Hollywood
• Super Nintendo World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
• Loews Hotels on Universal property
• The new Epic Universe hotels: Helios Grand, Stella Nova, Terra Luna

How I Work
I design Universal Orlando vacations for travelers who want the access, the rides, and the moments without the wrestling match. Universal Express Pass strategy. Loews Hotels pairings that earn the upgrade, including Hard Rock Hotel, Portofino Bay, Royal Pacific, Sapphire Falls, Aventura, Cabana Bay, and the new Epic Universe hotels. Restaurants worth the table. Touring plans for Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World, Volcano Bay, Celestial Park, Dark Universe, and the new Epic Universe lands.

If accessibility is part of your Universal Orlando trip, it is built in from day one. The Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP), sensory friendly attractions and rider switch options, mobility accessible queues, dietary requirements at quick service and table service, autism travel considerations, gluten free dining at the parks, and clearly mapped routes are all part of how I design every Universal itinerary.

A Few Questions Clients Ask
Q: What is Universal's accessibility pass?
A: The Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP) is Universal's equivalent of Disney's DAS for guests who cannot tolerate a standard queue. I help guests request the pass and plan park days around it.
Q: Do I need Express Pass at Universal?
A: It depends on the season, the parks, and your family's pace. I will tell you when it pays for itself and when you can skip it.

Every detail is handled before you arrive. Not assumed. Not guessed. Verified.

Shannon knows her theme parks!
Reviewed By Jessica - Weston FL | Traveled to Universal Orlando ~ Florida ~ USA
Shannon has booked our stay at Universal. She had plenty of feedback and helpful suggestions to help us decide where to stay, how the express passes work, and what restaurants we might enjoy at the resorts. She is an open book regarding her experience and recommendations for the parks, both Disney and Universal. She is very quick to respond and goes above and beyond to be helpful to her clients. I won’t hesitate to reach out to her again for our next trip and will definitely be recommending her to friends and family.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Creating the Best Universal Orlando Vacation

Three trips with Shannon. More on the calendar.
Shannon has been my go to travel agent for most of my trips. She has helped plan, execute, and have three amazing trips and more being planned. She is thorough in understanding what you want, takes time to find the best deals and what suits you, and provides excellent advice along the way. Before, during, and after our trips Shannon has been attentive to issues, needs, and works to address these immediately. She works hard so you don't have to and can enjoy your vacations. I would and have referred her to multiple people to plan their dream trips.

Disney with a gluten allergy. Above and beyond.
Above and beyond support and great tips and suggestions for traveling to Disney World with a Gluten Allergy. Shannon was the best to work with and loved having her as a guide in planning, preparing, and enjoying our trip to Disney World!

Above and beyond for our sensory kiddo at Disney.
Such a huge help for this anxious mama and dad traveling to Disney World with our sensory sensitive kiddo. Shannon handled all the booking for hotel, flights, transportation, and dining reservations. She explained how to use the DAS pass and where we could take our daughter for a break from over stimulation. She went above and beyond helping us navigate the airport when we were lost in it at midnight.

Celiac on a cruise. Comfortable from day one.
As a family with dietary restrictions (Celiac and other allergies), we were nervous to do a cruise. Shannon helped us choose the right cruise line and guided us on how to make sure we were comfortable with the food on board. She was always willing to answer any questions that we had.

Surprising the Wife, aka the Planner!
After many years of my wife and I not having a true vacation with just the two of us, Shannon helped plan one of the best Disney vacations we've ever had! She was responsive, transparent, and always provided suggestions to compare pros and cons. I had a last minute idea to surprise my wife with a dinner reservation that was needed less than 5 days from the dinner and Shannon jumped through hoops to make it happen! My wife was truly surprised by the dinner and we had a great time. I would highly recommend Shannon for all your travel needs and looking forward to her guidance on future trips!
