I'm Shannon McEvoy, an accessible luxury travel advisor and founder of Defying Limits Travel based in Clermont, Florida. I design custom premium vacations for families, couples, and groups who are tired of the one size fits all version, and who would rather plan once and trust the trip than verify every detail themselves.

I am a Certified Travel Adviser with over 18 years of experience, including over a decade in five star luxury concierge work at Loews Hotels, Waldorf Astoria, JW Marriott, Signia by Hilton, and at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando properties. I have lived with non celiac gluten intolerance, and a dairy intolerance most of my life. On top of that, my own family includes accessibility and food allergy considerations, so I know the work from the inside. My credentials include IBCCES Certified Autism Travel Professional, Certified Autism Specialist, Special Needs Group Accessible Travel Advocate, Luxury Travel Specialist, AMResorts Master Agent, and a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida (UCF).

I then verify the resorts, ships, cabins, restaurants, and excursions with the supplier teams directly. Every detail is handled before you arrive.

A Little About Me
I am mom and bonus mom to 4 wonderful little girls, and have been with my partner for over 6 years. When I'm not designing trips, you'll find me in the theme parks with my daughters and step daughters, on a cruise ship verifying cabins so my clients don't have to, or at home with our cats Tiger Lily and Bluebell watching "The Good Place".
