About Me

My husband and I love cruising!  You unpack once then are able to wake in a new destination to explore each day.  We have been on several different cruise lines, each a bit different but every one lovely!  The ships are always beautiful!  You can always find  something to do and it is fun meeting fellow passengers.   We have cruised several times in the Caribbean on 3 different cruise lines.  We have been to New England and Canada.  And most recently enjoyed what is called a CruiseTour on Princess in Alaska.  This type cruise starts or finishes on land with travel to several different locations (traveling by bus or train most of the time) then you cruise on the ship to ports that allow for an entirely different experience in the same wonderful vacation.   Let me help you find just the right cruise for you, your family, or group.

The sawmill was shipped from my home town Moundville Alabama in the 1960s when portable sawmills were few available. With the help of Wasilla chambers of commerce the 2 lady's working there help us out from day one. A BIG Thank you to those 2 lady's and many more for helping us find this location!!

An 80th birthday surprise to the Calgary Stampede and other points of interest!
Reviewed By Bamadad - Tuscaloosa, Alabama | Traveled to Alberta | Canada
It was a pleasure working with Mitzi as she covered all our bases and did so happily and joyfully, caring about our comfort and ease of travel. It was a smart idea to take in the first days of the stampede, travel to Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, and then back to Calgary to close out the rodeo days with a bang! We enjoyed the excitement of the “greatest outdoor show on earth” and the awe inspiring beauty of the Canadian Rockies and the stunning lakes within the mountains. We were amazed at God’s creation.

Ice chunk from Hubbard Glacier

Alaska Princess Cruise Tour

I first visited Alaska in May of 2026.  I am so glad we choose to go in May even though many consider it a shoulder season.  It is still a bit cool (highs in the 60's, lows in the 30's) but to me that makes if feel more like what you think of as classic Alaska.  There was still so much snow in the higher elevations and the ice floating in Hubbar...
