The people who thrive in this slower-paced, less hectic environment, away from the chaos of metropolitan cities, are truly remarkable. Perhaps the serenity of nature and the healthier lifestyle, centered around sustainable farming practices and a focus on ecology, drew me in and has a profound impact on my soul.

Whenever I’m there, I feel an incredible sense of well-being. It’s as if the air and energy of the area envelop me and refuses to let go. I dream of returning whenever I’m back in the states. I wholeheartedly embrace the Pura Vida lifestyle of Costa Rica and understand why so many ex-pats have chosen to live there for a more fulfilling existence. Living in harmony with nature and embracing a lifestyle free from the stress and worries of modern-day life in first-world countries has an irresistible appeal to me.
