I was very nervous about travelling, as a retired person with medical issues I did not know what my options were. Robert was great, we got to discuss what my challenges are and came up with solutions. The sense of no judgement, no bias was refreshing, I found it easier to discuss things with my travel agent over my doctor.

Last year I became paralyzed in one leg from the knee down. I quickly realized how much I had taken for granted the simple things like being able to walk and climb stairs with ease. My wife and I had wanted to take a trip, but I was worried how well I’d be able to enjoy it or what kind of activities and excursions I’d even be able to participate in with limited mobility. After getting to know me, he was able to recommend a resort and took care of our booking for us. We had an AMAZING time! The resort was beautiful, was accessible, and set up to provide me with the full travel experience despite my leg. I will continue to go back to him whenever travelling!

I’m 79 years old and recently took my very first solo trip — to Varadero, Cuba — all arranged by Robert George at Only Tans Vacations. To say he made it easy would be an understatement! From the moment I called, Robert handled everything. He found me a resort that was flat and easy to get around, close to the beach and dining, and even made sure I had wheelchair assistance at the airport (which was a lifesaver for these old knees). I was a little nervous about going alone, but the staff at the resort knew I was coming and treated me like family. My room was on the main floor near the pool, and Robert even reminded me to pack my medication and arranged my travel insurance. He checked in before, during, and after my trip — that’s service you just don’t get anymore. And let me tell you — I had a blast! The music, the sunshine, the rum (just a little!), and the friendly people made it one of the best experiences of my life. I even made a few new friends from Canada who already want to go back with me next year. If you’re a senior like me thinking about travelling but feeling unsure — don’t hesitate.
