DESTINATIONS VISITED:Florida
PLACES VISITED:Walt Disney World
SUGGESTED DURATION:4 Days
It can become overwhelming very fast for families when it comes to researching and figuring out how to plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As someone who has been fortunate to grow up visiting Walt Disney World Resort, I have firsthand knowledge of some strategies to tackling this. What follows will be one way to approach a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and is how my family did it. However, when it comes to your family and what you need, that may look different. If so, we can absolutely customize your trip to fit what you and your family are needing, and wanting for your stay! While we did our trips in the following order, additional days can be added for your trip. If you have the time and money to do so, I would highly encourage an additional day or two for relaxing at, and exploring your resort. Plus, if you can manage, a visit to Disney Springs for shopping lovers and even more places to explore to eat as well!

Day 1 - Arrival & EPCOT
Today is the first day of your trip, and you arrive into the wonderful Orlando International Airport (MCO) and grab your luggage, before heading to your transfer to your resort. You hop on your transfer, arrive to your resort, and you get checked in for your stay. Once checked in and a little settled, you head off to your first park of your trip, EPCOT. While at EPCOT you might go and visit Under the Sea with Nemo and Friends and then wander around the aquarium a bit after the ride. A must do is taking a photo in Bruce the sharks mouth. You may also take a ride on Space Ship Earth, which is the ride in the giant golf ball, and then play with the interactive elements that are in the area where you get off the ride. For the adults and food lovers, eating and drinking around the worlds, while also hitting a few of the other rides as well can be fun. Before you head home to your resort, you'll want to catch, "The Symphony of Us," the end of the night fireworks and fountain show.

Day 2 - Visiting Hollywood Studios
For your second day, wake up early, and utilize early entry to get a head start on rides at Hollywood Studios. Take on your own Star Wars Adventure over in Galaxys Edge. Help the resistance battle Kylo Ren in Rise of the Resistance, and try your hand at flying and fighting on the Millenium Falcon in Star Wars: Smugglers Run. Join in the fun on Star Wars: Star Tours too. If you're brave enough, try the Green and Blue Milk, and decide which side you're on. If you want to play around with our good friends from Toy Story, head over to Toy Story Land and try out the Alien Spin (toy story themed mad tea party tea cup like ride), Toy Story Mania, or Slinky Dog Dash. After this head over to Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway for a fun adventure with Mickey and friends and a nice break from the heat in some lovely air conditioning. For the brave at heart, you can, if you dare, go and ride the Hollywood Tower of Terror! Just to name a few things you can do.

For day three, visit Animal Kingdom, and take a walk on the wild side! During your visit to this park, you have the option to go on the Kilimanjaro Safari Experience. Head over to Pandora the world from Avatar and ride Flight of Passage, and or the Navi River Journey. You have to try the Night Blossom Drink in Pandora too! If your family loves the Lion King, you have to go over and see The Festival of the Lion King. Will you be seated in the Wharthog, Elephant, Giraffe, or Lion side? There's only one way to find out! For the thrill seekers, you should check out Expedition Everest over in Asia, and if its a hot day be sure to take a ride on the Kali River Rapids to cool off some. Don't forget to check out some of the wonderful places to eat as well. Some of our favorites are Yak & Yeti and Tusker House. This park will definitely have you connecting with your inner child as you go and fly off with Peter Pan on Peter Pan's Flight, and venture through the Hundred Acre Wood with Winnie the Pooh and friends on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Speaking of Winnie the Pooh and friends, if they're some of your favorite characters, a meal at Crystal Palace should not be missed! From the Mad Tea Party spinning tea cups, it's a Small World, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and more there is plenty to do for the whole family! For the thrill seekers, you can't miss out on Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Barnstormer (for beginner thrill seekers), Seven Dwarf's Mine Train, Tiana's Bayou Adventure (honorable mention due to large drop at the end), and TRON Lightcycle / Run are great options to check out.
