Why I Love Cruising!

Andrea helped us to plan a much needed getaway to the sunshine in December. She helped to navigate the winter break rush to ensure we had a lovely NYE with our teen daughter in Puerto Rico. Was an awesome trip. Will definitely use Andrea again!

Andrea's meticulous planning, attention to detail and personalized care resulted in an incredibly special and memorable 20th Anniversary Italy vacation for me and my husband. Andrea managed our travel plans to perfection and took the time to develop a vacation that surpassed our expectations. She was a joy to work with, and we can't recommend her enough!!

Andrea made planning our trip to Norway so much easier. She and her connections were able to tell us the must-sees and plan all the details for us. It was also great to have someone back home that we could call during the trip when we had any questions. We reached out to Andrea several times (and at odd hours due to the time difference), and she was always very responsive.

Our trip to Charleston was nothing short of INCREDIBLE!! We stayed at the most beautiful hotel, right next to the market, and we were able to walk almost everywhere! Andrea’s suggestions for activities were spot-on and every single one was fantastic. We just pulled up the app and everything was right at our fingertips. We cannot thank Andrea enough for making this trip so fun and stress-free. We will be using her again, for sure!!

Andrea helped us plan a cruise for 10 and it was such a breeze! She made the entire process smooth from helping us decide what deck our cabin should be on to collecting payments from each cruiser to even making sure everyone had the correct documents to travel! I highly recommend her!

Andrea curated a Norwegian experience that really gave us a great snapshot of the country. From the capital city of Oslo, to the quaint arctic town of Tromso, to the fishing-centric rainy Bergen...all three destinations delivered memories that will last a lifetime. Specifically, in Tromso, we saw the Northern Lights all three nights that we were in town. In Bergen, the Fjord Tour package was definitely worth it! So many trains, boats and automobiles that day we couldn't have done it without our amazing tour guide, Mike. Andrea selected FANTASTIC hotels for us - the included European breakfasts were a great start to each day.

Andrea was very helpful setting up our cruise. She got us into an upgraded room and hooked us up with multiple discounts. She followed up to make sure we hit all our deadlines and sent us reminders so we didn’t miss anything. We love Andrea and are excited about our next cruise she organized for us!!

We decided to book a vacation to the Dominican Republic to celebrate my daughter's graduation. There were 6 of us going on the trip together. A friend referred me to Andrea because I was a little nervous trying to book something like this on my own. I am so very grateful that she did!! Everything was planned perfectly, the plane, the transportation to and from the resort and the amazing all-inclusive resort itself!! Andrea was very thorough, she explained every detail and was available to answer ANY questions we had with an impressively quick response time. It isn't easy to coordinate 6 individuals!! Unfortunately, one of the girls was unable to go on the trip because of an unexpected family emergency. Andrea was right there to help us navigate the trip insurance so our friend was able to be refunded and she even helped us add another friend in her place. We ended up having a truly AMAZING time on our vacation to the DR! It's a breath of fresh air to work with someone with such excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic!! It's rare these days. I am beyond impressed with Andrea and will absolutely be using her for any vacations I book in the future!! Thank you Andrea!!!!

My friends and I had the wonderful assistance of Andrea to plan our trip to the DR and it made the experience even more enjoyable because nearly everything was done for us. Everything was extremely organized, clear to understand, and timely. Andrea was quick to respond to emails with any questions we had. She made planning this trip extremely seamless. She was even available during our trip with questions we had regarding transportation. In the midst of the planning, I recommended Andrea to a coworker who was looking for help with planning a trip as I was truly impressed by her work. Our trip to the Dominican Republic was so much fun and extremely seamless, all thanks to the planning being completely taken care of by Andrea from start to finish. We told Andrea we wanted to go on an affordable vacation in the Caribbean, and she quickly came up with Punta Cana, a gorgeous vacation destination that fit our budgets well! Andrea quickly got our all inclusive hotel booked, along with round trip nonstop flights and a private car service to and from the airport. Andrea also shared helpful information on trip insurance which we ended up purchasing, due to the nature of the environment in Punta Cana during the September month. Andrea made the entire experience seamless; I barely had to do anything and it was such a breath of fresh air to not have to worry about planning. We had all the details we needed for our trip in the Tern travel app, and Andrea was very quick to respond over email with any questions we had. I completely trusted Andrea to plan our trip and take care of things, and this is the only time I’ve ever been able to feel care free entering a vacation, not having to worry about a thing. We had so many things to celebrate in our family this year that I decided (kind of last minute) that we should do a family cruise. We had never done a cruise before. I contacted Andrea and she took care of everything! She explained to me how cruises worked - best area to sleep on the boat, best kind of room, etc and gave me choices of different ships, costs, etc. We decided on Utopia of the Seas (It was amazing) and Andrea was able to get us two rooms just one away from each other on a high floor in the middle of the boat - each room had a balcony. Once we were booked, I never hesitated to text Andrea with any questions. She walked me through buying the drink packages and keep us in the loop with reminder emails, packing lists and sent us a fun departing gift. Andrea's help made this such a smooth process. This impressive ship was appropriately named as our vacation was “Utopia”. I am usually a self-planner and this time, took advantage of Andrea at Funshine Destinations. It was great working with Andrea who treated us like her most important client even though we planned a relatively simple and inexpensive vacation. She presented us with many options, communicated well all along the planning process, and checked in to make sure everything was as we expected. The companies she recommended were also great and we never had to worry if plans would fall through. I've never used a travel agency before and didn't see the point since you can do so much online yourself these days, but I'll never plan my own vacation again, now that I can see the difference. So great to have all documents, itineraries and phone numbers all in one place. The best part, even though we never needed it, was if we had anything go wrong, we knew who to call and it would be fixed.
