What do you think of when you hear the word Italy?              

I think of handmade pasta and pizza with fresh cheese and tomatoes!I like to send first-time Italian travelers to the three largest cities - Rome, Florence, and Venice. Start in Rome and see the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, Vatican City (technically its own country!), the Pantheon, and St. Peter’s Basilica.  In northern Italy, pop in and out of Milan, Lake Como, and Cinque Terre, a place known for its food, sweeping Mediterranean views, and hiking opportunities.

Day trip to Piza or extend your trip and enjoy the popular southern Amalfi Coast, a rugged coastline decorated with fishing villages. The island of Sicily is also becoming popular and is such a historic island, there’s nary a culture that hasn’t had some kind of influence there.                        

Many clients find themselves on-the-go in Italy with so many things to do and explore The island of Capri, with its friendly people, gorgeous water and captivating cliffs, is a magical place, and a special favorite of mine, but I always listen to my clients and plan travel and excursions based on their special interests and needs.                 

I work closely with clients throughout the planning process, acting more as a "coach" than simply a booking agent. I can arrange for specialty shopping, a cooking class with a local chef, or unique museum visits and excursions. I can even recommend a place to get a cappuccino in a small village!
