Long before I became a Travel Advisor, I was the one designing family journeys, thoughtfully planning each detail to ensure the experience felt seamless, meaningful, and well considered. I spent more than two decades in the global financial services world, a career that took me across more than 120 countries for both business and personal travel. Moving frequently between cultures, time zones, and destinations gave me a deep appreciation for how thoughtful planning can elevate an experience, and how poor planning can diminish even the most remarkable places. That global exposure shaped the way I view travel today: as something that should feel intentional, culturally connected, and effortless for the traveler.

My company, Portiva Travel was founded in 2024 to bring that perspective to others. The name itself reflects this philosophy. Portiva is inspired by my Portuguese heritage and the idea of a port: the place where every journey begins.

Each trip I design is an embarkation point, carefully considered and tailored to the individual traveler. Based in Miami, I specialize in luxury travel and group experiences across the Caribbean, Latin America, and beyond.
