Hello, my name is Itamar Ribeiro, co founder of Ripples Luxury Travel. My wife and I specialize in thoughtfully curated small ship and river cruise experiences for travelers who value connection, depth, and meaningful moments over crowds and fast paced itineraries.

At Ripples Luxury Travel, our work is guided by three core values: Adventure, Remember, and Connect. Our niche is cruise ships carrying 700 passengers or fewer, including refined small ship lines such as Azamara, AmaWaterways, and select river cruise partners worldwide. These itineraries allow for longer port stays, immersive shore experiences, and access to destinations larger ships simply cannot reach. This style of travel creates space for genuine connection and unhurried exploration, which is at the heart of our brand.

I am certified as a Southern Caribbean Specialist, with tourism board training for Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Martinique, and Puerto Rico. These certifications allow me to offer informed guidance and regional insight, especially when pairing Caribbean destinations with small ship itineraries.

My professional background uniquely shapes how I serve my clients. I currently work as a registered nurse on a cardiac floor, where precision, anticipation, and calm decision making are essential every day. This experience translates directly into travel planning, where details matter, timing matters, and thoughtful preparation creates peace of mind.

Originally from Brazil, I have extensive firsthand knowledge of the country’s culture and regions, including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, and Manaus in the Amazon. This allows me to design journeys that go beyond surface level sightseeing, especially for travelers seeking cultural depth or pairing Brazil with river or expedition style cruising.

My personal travels span North America, Europe, and the Caribbean, including Canada, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Monaco, Mexico, and multiple cruise itineraries. Each experience informs how I design journeys that feel intentional from embarkation to the moments you will remember most.

I am based in Petaluma, California in Sonoma County near San Francisco, and I work with clients nationwide to plan small ship and river cruise experiences that feel personal, seamless, and well considered.
