I used to have a real fear of open water-just the thought of being out in the vast ocean gave me anxiety. But in 2021, I took a leap of faith and went on my very first cruise. That experience completely changed my perspective. The comfort of the ship, the beauty of the sea, and the sense of adventure sparked a new curiosity in me.
My third cruise in 2024 with Cruise Line, where I visited the stunning island of Grand Turk. I decided to challenge myself and booked a snorkeling excursion—something I never imagined doing. The excursion took us near the Great Wall of Grand Turk, an underwater drop so deep it felt like the edge of the earth.
With my heart pounding and my courage tested, I jumped in. And you know what? I faced my fear head-on and snorkeled above one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the Caribbean. Not only did I conquer my fear of open water, but I also checked a major item off my bucket list.
