Ireland Expert | Castles, Culture & Countryside

We had never been to a sandals resort before or been out of the country and we trusted Amanda to help us with a smooth process through the entire vacation and she did a fabulous job taking care of everything for us so that we could just enjoy ourselves and that’s exactly what we wanted

My wife and I booked our honeymoon with Amanda. We didn't really have a plan, just locations we wanted to visit. Amanda tailored our trip to our wants and then supercharged it with fun side-adventures and perfect hotel recommendations and transit choices. We visited so many areas of Iceland, the coast of Croatia and up to Zagreb, and then spent several days in Vienna. Every day was stress-free, organized, and so much fun! We traveled on planes, trains, cars, ferries, atvs, and even horseback! Many bucket-list items were accomplished: we climbed a glacier, saw humpback whales, swam in the Adriatic Sea, ate authentic schnitzel, and parallel parked in a city! Amanda checked in on us throughout the adventure and made sure all was well and on track. I couldn't have had a better guide to our three week adventure!

We had such an amazing trip to Norway. Amanda definitely took notes and checked all of our boxes!! Every transfer, hotel room, train ride, boat ride, bus ride when off without a hitch. Every picture was postcard worthy. Thank you for your attention to detail.

Amanda did an excellent job curating an itinerary that had the perfect balance of down time and seeing everything in one trip!

Working with Amanda to plan our trip was easy, efficient and very informative. We had a party of 8 traveling for over 3 weeks. Amanda worked with each couple to plan the necessary aspects of each couples needs and made sure we were all well informed as to what the various "plans" were. She managed to meet all of our needs prior to the trip and managed "on the fly" changes during the trip with ease even given the time differences. Our trip was all we wanted it to be and Amanda was a vital component of our trip.

Amanda did a wonderful job preparing the itinerary for our pre- and post-cruise excursions to the Med. Her products were professional, clear and detailed to ensure we understood all aspects of transportation, lodging and daily activities. We will for sure use her skills for our next vacation!

We just got back from our Utah and Wyoming trip, and I can't recommend our travel planner enough! She planned every detail of our itinerary, making each day organized, smooth, and stress-free. From activities and timing to recommendations and logistics, everything was thoughtfully put together so we could simply enjoy our vacation. Because of her attention to detail, we were able to focus on making memories instead of worrying about planning. If you're looking for someone who will take the stress out of travel and create an incredible experience, I highly recommend her. We'll definitely be using her again for our next adventure!

Amanda was very helpful to us in planning our 30th anniversary trip to Bonaire. She did a thorough consultation with us regarding our budget and where we wanted to go, then made sound recommendations. She coordinated our trip from door to door, including all of our flights and transfers from airport to resort. Response time was excellent, even though were are in different time zones, and she was always upbeat and positive with our questions and all communications. We've got her in charge of another, larger trip through Argentina and Antarctica later this year, so yes we would definitely hire her again!

Amanda is great, very detailed was planned perfectly. She is very thorough and really cares. Highly recommended her.

Amanda planned our second cruise with Disney cruise line to Alaska and the trip was PERFECT! Amanda tracked all our flights and checked in prior to the trip for any last second details. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and Amanda had a six pack of beer waiting for us on ice in our room. She not only treated us but our two daughters with Minnie mouse cupcakes. Amanda was able to provide appropriate excursions for our daughters based on their age and adventure seeking level. My girls said this was their favorite trip we've taken as a family and I would definitely agree. This was my third trip with Amanda and I would never use anyone else but her!!

Our trip to SXM was great. Amanda was a huge help getting everything setup and scheduled. Anytime we had a question she was quick to respond. Our first day on the island we had a small injury that made us unable to do some of our excursions. Amanda was able to get our money refunded. Other than the injury, our trip was amazing. I would definitely use Amanda for our future travel plans.

Amanda did an awesome job in helping us make this trip happen. She handled all the logistics of the trip seamlessly. Our family trusts Amanda to handle our trips.

From planning all the way through to returning home, Amanda was involved. Our itinerary changed a bit while we were there, and Amanda rescheduled tours for us. She even texted me when we landed in Newark and we were at the baggage carousel! I am already working with Amanda on an international trip. I have recommended her to friends.

I cannot express how wonderful Amanda is. First off, she is so sweet, but she really knows her stuff. Amanda was able to plan the vacation of my dreams. From the bustling streets of Edinburgh, to the picturesque views of St. Andrews, to the majestic Scottish Highlands and lastly our stop in the beast of London.... Amanda provided us with every single thing that we wanted to see/do on our vacation. Including setting us up in the KINGS Suite at a CASTLE! yes, an actual Castle... This was my first time Crossing the Pond, and Amanda made sure that our itinerary was full and complete, but one of the BEST things about Amanda is that she is with you through your entire vacation. If anything would have gone wrong (thankfully nothing did) she would have handled it for us. I cannot express my gratitude Amanda, for making this the vacation of my dreams. If you need a Travel Agent, look no further than Amanda! Thank you again!

Amanda helped plan a surprise trip to Hawaii, our trip included all of the amenities plus several excursions and we could not wait for the trip. Hawaii had a unfortunate storm while we were traveling but Amanda always made her self available completely re-doing our whole plan to make sure we could still have the best time regardless of the weather. This was above and beyond the level of support that I could ever expect. We are so grateful for all of the support and I cannot wait to book my next trip with her for later this year.

Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to go to Ireland. When I finally decided to make that dream a reality and set a date, I quickly realized I needed the help of a professional. Amanda came highly recommended by a friend, so I sent her an email, and she responded immediately. Amanda took the time to truly understand what I wanted. She asked thoughtful questions about my expectations, goals, and budget. I told her I only had two “must-haves”…a visit to the Cliffs of Moher and a stay in a castle. Beyond that, I was completely open to her suggestions. She handled everything, flights, car rental, and hotels, and provided a detailed, day-by-day suggested itinerary. The accommodations were fantastic, and our stay at Dromoland Castle was truly unforgettable. We rode in a horse-drawn carriage, and I even participated in falconry. My sister said she had never seen me smile so much. It was cold and rainy when we arrived at the Cliffs of Moher, but fate smiled on us as the skies cleared. It was magnificent. We laughed nonstop as the strong winds nearly knocked us over. It was an absolute highlight of the trip. We stayed in Ireland for six nights, arriving on Sunday, October 26, and returning home on Saturday, November 1. Amanda had warned me ahead of time that Ireland offers so much that six nights would feel short, and she was right. We stayed in a different location each night. If I were to do it again, I would definitely plan to stay two nights in each location instead of one. Many of the local shops close earlier than they do in the U.S., so by the time we traveled, checked in, and settled, some of the quaint stores were already closing. Thankfully, there was always a pub open! I will absolutely reach out to Amanda again for future travel. I’ve already recommended her to a friend, and she planned an incredible trip to Spain for her and her husband. Amanda is knowledgeable, responsive, and truly gifted at creating unforgettable travel experiences.

This is my second trip with Amanda and she did great! She planned a girl's weekend in Salem for me and my friends and the trip did not disappoint. Amanda helped us with transportation and found the perfect hotel in Boston near the train station to Salem. She scheduled a haunted tour and gave us a ton of recommendations for food and historical sites. The week prior to our trip, she sent me a detailed itinerary to include check in times and daily activities. I am already planning my third trip with Amanda to Alaska. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an organized and professional travel agent.

Amanda was so great to work with. She followed up periodically and created the perfect little itinerary for us to refer to prior to the trip. She was available quickly for any questions and check in help! She helped do the research and make things easy for me.

Amanda was absolutely incredible to work with! She planned our entire month-long journey across the globe, and every single detail was seamless. We began with our wedding in Scotland, and from there she coordinated our dream honeymoon through London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, and Japan. From flights and hotels to excursions and the little touches that made each destination feel magical, Amanda thought of everything. We never had to stress—just enjoy the experience of a lifetime. This was the most important trip of our lives, and we couldn’t have asked for a better travel agent to make it happen. If you’re looking for someone who is attentive, organized, and truly cares about creating unforgettable experiences, Amanda is the one. We’ll be booking with her again for every future adventure!

Amanda took care of everything. Stress free and fun filled trip.

We did Vagas and Hawaii. Amanda did a fantastic job setting everything up. We didn't have to worry about anything. During the Vagas trip we had to leave a day early and she took care of that also. Top notch service and super easy to deal with. Great experience.

We really enjoyed working with Amanda King, she was wonderful.

Had a really good time. Amanda was great.

Amanda planned the Italian countryside trip of our dreams! We told her we wanted to avoid the big cities and experience the authentic side of Italy, and she delivered beyond anything we could have imagined. She created a custom Italy itinerary that took us through charming villages, boutique inns, and stunning countryside landscapes. Every stop felt special, from private vineyard tours to hidden gems that we never would have found on our own. Amanda took all the stress out of planning, handling every detail so we could relax and fully immerse ourselves in the journey. It was the perfect blend of culture, relaxation, and discovery—truly an authentic Italian countryside experience. We’re so grateful for her expertise and can’t wait to plan our next adventure with her!

When trying to decide on where in Florida to go to be able to see the ocean for the first time, we didn't know where to go. Reaching out to Amanda was an awesome experience. She made everything so easy. She booked everything from the resort, fun activities in between, and the stops on the drive to and from. She was also always there if we needed something. Her advise on everything was second to none. We will definitely be using her services for years to come.

We went on a trip with close friends and admit we wanted to see it all. Amanda listened to everything from both couples and did an amazing job of helping plan an unforgettable trip. No easy feet since we did several countries. This involved not only travel to Ireland, but then to France, Germany and across the countries toward Italy. She had to coordinate multiple car rentals, hotels & train rides. Add to that cooking classes, tours and boat rides. It was impressively coordinated with a full itinerary including aprox. driving times. We highly recommend her and would use her services again.

Amanda listened, heard and delivered on what we wanted for our vacation! She helped guide us every step of the way. I had a lot of questions leading up to the trip and she was so nice in answering each and every one. While on our trip one of our snorkel trips was canceled last minute by the company and she handled the cancellation, refund and found us another snorkel trip within a very short time. Amanda was wonderful throughout the entire process! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

Amanda found me the best wine tour ever. My love for port wine grew after the full day Duoro Valley tour in Porto ?? I only had one day in Porto and it was perfect. The hotels she found me in Porto and Cascais were perfect for my short time in Portugal. One of them even had a washing machine! Amanda is quick to respond to my spontaneous travel plans. I’ll definitely be using her again to plan my next travel adventure!

Amanda planned our entire cruise for us and took care of everything! Her communication was great and it was so easy and stress free! We can't wait to have her help us plan our next vacation!!

My travel adventure included lots of planning due to limited time. Thanks to Amanda I was able to fit in everything I wanted to do in Germany and Austria. The wine tour in Austria was perfect with beautiful vineyards and sunset! I wouldn’t have been able to squeeze everything thing in without Amanda. Quick to respond even with an 8 hour time difference. Highly recommend!

My first time to Thailand was perfect due to Amanda’s amazing travel planning skills. I had one day in Bangkok where she booked an amazing waterfall tour outside the city. It was my first real solo trip and that tour was great! The hotels she found in Phuket were exactly what I wanted: luxurious, but on a budget and on the beach. Thavorne Beach Resort is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The scuba diving tour was also great. It really was the best birthday trip ever due to Amanda creating an itinerary that included everything I wanted. Thank you for being so flexible, efficient and quick to respond to my spontaneous travel plans! Highly recommend Amanda King for any travel adventure!

Amanda planned the most incredible and romantic multi-country trip to Europe for us! Every detail was so thoughtfully curated — from the perfectly timed train connections to the stunning hotels in each city. She took all the stress out of planning and handled every bit of the logistics seamlessly, so we could simply enjoy and soak in each destination. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. If you’re dreaming of a European adventure (or any adventure!), Amanda is the person you want by your side. Highly recommend!

Amanda made our travel preparation SO easy. She took care of all the details from transportation, hotels and dining reservations. When we arrived to our room on the ship, Amanda surprised us with a bottle of wine and a Minnie Mouse cake. My girls loved all the details. Amanda even texted me before my flight and once we arrived in Orlando. She truly made the trip so unique and special. I highly recommend Amanda for any travel needs!! She is currently planning another trip for me!! I wouldn't use anyone else.

Our family wanted to go on a vacation to Europe for three weeks. Amanda took care of every aspect of the trip. We got to see Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Greece, and England. All of our transportation, lodging, and excursion needs were taken care of, which allowed us to just enjoy every moment. Amanda provided a worry-free experience that our family will cherish for the rest of our lives!!!

We used Amanda to organize a 3 day trip to Las Vegas in May 2025. We highly recommend Amanda. From the very beginning Amanda was incredibly helpful and responsive. She is high energy, full of excitement, and a great person to plan your trip. She is organized, and calculate the trip between activities making the trip run smoothly. She is a great listener, had great recommendations and doesn't take things personal. She makes sure she stays within budget, and plans the trip based on your specific needs. She makes sure you take advantage of all it has to offer while you are there. The hotel was fantastic, exactly what we wanted, the excursions were well organized and planned. Our favorite was driving UTV in the middle of the desert or jumping in the air over 900 feet, an unforgettable experience. It couldn't be done without Amanda.

Our trip was prepared by Amanda, with great views, autocamp stays and time to relax in the beautiful natural beauty of our national parks. We even relax at a Hot Springs.

Amanda thank you so much for planning the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure in Thailand! The hotels and tours were amazing!

Amanda did an amazing job from the beginning of the planning all the way thru to any issues we had while on our trip. She customized our 3 week European trip with friends to include all the things we wanted to see and do. Gave us several choices on hotels and had us decide every aspect of the trip. Would highly recommend her to anyone that wants to do some traveling! Will definitely use her again.
