We spent a lot of time at La Jolla Cove and I was in awe of the crystal-clear water and breathtaking views. Watching the sea lions sunbathe on the rocks was so cool, and the whole atmosphere of the area – laid-back but lively – made it the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Coronado Beach was another highlight; it was so peaceful, and the views of the iconic hotel were picture-perfect. Honestly, I could’ve stayed on the beach all day, every day.One of my favorite things about San Diego was the diversity of neighborhoods. Each one has its own unique character, and I felt like I was discovering something new in every area. Old Town was a cool mix of history and culture, and I had the best tacos there (I’m talking authentic, mouthwatering tacos). I also loved wandering around the Gaslamp Quarter. It was the perfect place to find great restaurants, funky shops, and some amazing rooftop bars. Little Italy had such a vibrant energy, and I’m pretty sure I found my new favorite spot for pasta. Seriously, the food scene here is extraordinary! I definitely made sure to hit some of the city's top attractions. The San Diego Zoo is world-famous, and after visiting, I totally get why. The animals were adorable, and the park itself was beautiful. I also spent some time at Balboa Park, which was just stunning – the gardens, the architecture, and the museums made it a great place to stroll and relax. One of the best parts of my trip was exploring the USS Midway Museum. Stepping onto that aircraft carrier and learning about its history was fascinating, and the views of the harbor from the deck were incredible. San Diego's food scene was delicious. I had the best fish tacos at a food truck in Pacific Beach (if you’re in the area, trust me, don’t miss it). I also indulged in mouthwatering Mexican food, but there were surprises around every corner. From craft beer and oysters at Liberty Station to a fancy dinner with a view at one of the coastal restaurants, every meal felt like a treat. The weather in San Diego was pretty much flawless the entire time. I’m talking sunny skies and perfect temperatures every single day. It really made all the outdoor activities (whether hiking, biking, or just lounging on the beach) even more enjoyable. It’s a city that encourages you to slow down and appreciate the moment, and that’s exactly what I did. From sipping coffee at a cafe by the water to watching the sunset over the Pacific, every moment felt like pure bliss. San Diego has so much to offer that I feel like I only scratched the surface, im already thinking about seeing the Cabrillo National Monument during my next visit.
