My passion for traveling has grown since I was four and earned my first airline pin. The joy of discovering new destinations, particularly the stunning forests, majestic mountains, and serene rivers, is an unparalleled thrill that I cherish. Exploring the breathtaking national parks of North America and the European gems like France, Italy, and Ireland is a joy. Each day is a journey that fuels my love for adventure and immerses me in the beauty of our world. I love activities that immerse me in nature, such as hiking, snow skiing, and visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites. I cherish experiencing different cultures and trying local favorite foods while on vacation. My favorite destinations are Mexico, the Grand Caymans, Egypt, Italy, and Canada. Of course, we loved our family Disney Vacations, the Animal Kingdom in Disney World, and our beautiful trip to Disney Land. I appreciate the convenience of escorted tours when traveling to busy cities like New York or foreign countries like Egypt and Israel. When I want to snow ski or scuba, I prefer staying in all-inclusive resorts, where I can easily add day tours and activities to my itinerary. Recently, I have been spending my vacations visiting colleges. My daughter and I call these our college vacations, during which we take tours of prospective universities and the cities and towns they reside in. We have enjoyed visiting the University of Denver, exploring its beautiful campus and the vibrant city of Denver, the College of Charleston with its historic campus and the charming city of Charleston, and the University of North Carolina with its picturesque campus and the lively town of Chapel Hill. We look forward to visiting the University of Chicago, Northwestern, and Loyola University in Chicago in the summer of 2025. We make the most of these vacations by experiencing activities that are unique to that destination. We loved snow tubing on Echo Mountain in Colorado and shopping on King Street in Charleston.
