Coming into port.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, later in life when I married my Turkish husband, I got a chance to move to Istanbul, Turkey.  I lived there for four years and while living there, I met many people from various places, and with my new friends we did boarders runs. It was either we hopped on a train to Bulgaria or took a bus to Greece or got on an airplane to England or Spain.  We did not care where we went as long as it was (a) in our budget and (b) in our time frame.

From my many travel excursions, I learn the ins and outs of moving about through cities like Alexandropoulos, Greece, and Shanghai.  I learned how to cover our US dollars to Euro or dirham (AED) while in Dubai. And most importantly, I learned how to negotiate for a lower price for an item you purchase.  It is little things like this that travelers want to know about to help them get the most out of their vacation trips.
